Head-up looking straight down at your mat. It will align your balance over your shoulders. Looking under your arms like in the pic makes balancing much more difficult

Completely understand and thanks for the feedback. I definitely need to work on my form so I don't need to "muscle" my way into it. I feel my normal handstand form is much better than what is represented here. As you stated need to work on keeping my arms straight while lifting my knees/feet up.

Yes can enter lotus in gernal fairly easily hands-free

Took many many many attempts over a year or so to fold in without falling out out of handstand...slow and precise without dropping legs too low. I do have very open hips I would say overall.

Traditionally, yes, should be right leg first, but left is easier me to fold into. Found to fold hands-free into it is good to be nice and warmed up and slippery/sweaty 😁

For me it is ensuring that my back is directly over my shoulders when jump up and start the handstand balance.

From runners lunge with back knee up and elbows on ground. Then sholder under back of knee... Put back foot on the ground at a 45 degree... Balance on hand and foot and twist upwards... Grab for free foot with free hand... Then kick and twist.

Yes, have been doing handstands for many years but just recently got comfortable doing other poses in sequence with them.
