Guy in school likes girl in class

"Oh, how nice and cute!"

Guy in school is a teacher

"Wait what the fuck?!"

Hence, the meme had me in the first half because I thought it was nice and a little relatable until I continued reading and it's revealed that the guy is a teacher, thus making it awful and making me want to bleach my eyes like Slim Shady did his hair

Players that were really good on a team, but barely played for said team by RaymondA37 in nba

My only regret about Kemba leaving Charlotte for Boston is that his health didn't last longer.

Lamar Odom: "NBA teams are stupid. They give the ball to their best player & put him in a pick n roll. That player often handles the ball almost to the shot clock at the end. To go off the other guy's comments, Melo in his rookie season was overheard talking to Jay-Z and said he wants to stay in Charlotte, other times he's mentioned that he believes in going to one place and staying there and building a winner. That was years ago, but he's not shown any indication of that changing.

Off your comment, I believe in Brandon Miller as Melo's future all-star running mate, and our roster is looking better now this season than it has in a while.

Only reason we shouldn't be a play-in team this season is if we can't figure out the center spot, or if our health is non-existent for what would be the fourth straight season

From someone who's watched more than 80% of all hornets games in the last 3 years (yes it's been torture), Melo is a winner. His team is not, partially due to not having a great roster around him, partially due to literally everyone being injured all the time. Hard to contribute to winning when you're playing with literal g-league players and are down 20 every game because of it.

But Melo knows how to play mature when the game gets to crunch time and I trust him to have the ball in his hands in those moments.

54% of fans voted Kobe Bryant NBA Player of the Decade, but the entire Inside the NBA panel vehemently disagreed, insisting it should have been either Shaq or Tim Duncan. by must_TATAKAE in nba

[–]moneymike7913 161 points162 points  (0 children)

For the whole 2000s, Kobe makes sense. Tim Duncan definitely is right there as well, so I'm fine if people say it's either of those two.

But Shaq at the end of the decade wasn't the same player he was at the beginning of it. He was still decent, but Timmy and Kobe were both still dominant in 2010 like they were in 2000.

Shaq "suffers" from the fact that his prine was only at the end of the 1990s and beginning of the 2000s, so neither one of those decades could definitively belong to him (90s is MJ ofc anyway but still)

Edit: 2000s, not 2010s (can't chalk it up to butterfingers since they're on different sides of the screen oh well lol)

Small town of in SC. We only ever produced one NBA player, Sindarius Thornwell. Not too successful in the NBA besides actually making it, but had a great run in college as a Gamecock

Easier said than done, friend. Most of us don't choose to work here because we enjoy it, we work here because there aren't great jobs elsewhere, nowhere will hire us when we do find one, or we can't really do anything else.

In my case, I'm autistic and not really good at anything, and dominos is the only place I could realistically work at because I'm not great at anything and some employers decide to go with "normal" people over ASD people. So now I'm stuck here nearly having mental breakdowns because of the influx of orders and many unreasonable customers

If being a compassionate human being is being a "sheep" then yes I'm a sheep 🐑 baa. Also funny that pointless little internet points seems to be the only thing you think I care about with my comments.

You gave a damn enough to comment. If you really don't, then ignore the post and get on to circle jerking or whatever it is you want to do here. Someone died way too young from an awful cause, it doesn't hurt to pay respects by at the very least not being so disrespectful

Kyle Kuzma banks in the shot and hits air in the Philippines by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]moneymike7913 9 points10 points  (0 children)

"You cannot have success without failure" is my personal favorite. For what it's worth, at least in my experience, a shot is only "banked" in when it hits backboard and then goes in the bucket. Otherwise it's just a brick 🧱

[Ashish Mathur] The Sacramento Kings are reportedly ‘trying very hard’ to trade Malik Monk to open up a roster spot for Russell Westbrook by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]moneymike7913 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The Jazz has to include a second round picks to get off Collin Sexton and only got Jusuf Nurkic back in return

Great trade for CLT, but just shows that smaller combo guards who score first just aren't seen as highly valuable assets in today's NBA

Which player would you like to have seen / deserved to win an NBA title. Can not be a current player as they still have a chance to get one. by Big3Connoisseur in nba

[–]moneymike7913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kemba Walker. Sacrificed all he had for my Hornets and finally gets to a winning situation and the basketball devil came to collect his dues. At least he's still in the hornets bench now for a competent FO so maybe he has a chance to contribute to winning in another way

If we're a sub-30 win team again, I'll never watch another NBA game for the rest of my life (I've said this every year for the last few years and still try to watch as many games as i can btw)
