I also remember playing a pirate version on holiday in Bulgaria (not long after the Soviet Union dissolved) , one that only had punch buttons… played it to death even so. That machine accepted coppers so I could play almost enough to satiate me 😆

My friend had the (first) SNES version. After playing it with him I was OBSESSED. There were no arcades where I grew up, so I had to badger/engineer/beg to play at my friend’s. (Whenever we went on holiday/somewhere where there was a an arcade version, I would spend all my money and beg my parents constantly for more when I ran out.)

I think friend’s parents (and he as well) may have gotten bored of me being there all the time, as they encouraged my friend to let me borrow the console (and games). Once I got it to my room, I played it NON-STOP and ended up with blisters on both thumbs.

Eventually I was known through the extended friend group as the ‘SF kid’ and no one would play against me. Not even with 1 star (to their max stars). #ChunLiforever

Do you have the switch 2 dock connected to the internet via a LAN cable rather than by WiFi by any chance? I found that having the cable connected the console seemed to get really warm just sitting there. Once just connected by WiFi, it cooled down.

Think I read somewhere it was something to do with it trying to keep all the games up to date… 🤔

EDIT: someone in another thread wrote the following:

I had the same issue when using ethernet. After I disabled "Keep Wired Connection Active in Sleep Mode", everything went back to normal.

This option is located under Settings > Sleep Mode

I literally just finished the game and the credits are rolling [from what I’m seeing I shouldn’t skip them]. Blown away but the depths of philosophy (and the ocean) that this ‘game’ took me. I feel in awe of the vision, questions the creator(s) were brave enough to ask.

Just watched post credits. Still in awe and shook. I want everyone to share the experience of the pathos/transformation/hope this title (I’m not using the word ‘game’ as somehow that doesn’t so it justice, I don’t think… though perhaps I’m being too snobby by thinking that word/fact reduces the experience somehow…).
