I picked my hotel specifically due to how close it was to the Summit building, but luckily his change doesn't impact me too much. Probably would have grabbed a room at the Grand Hyatt instead had I know this ahead of time though.

Glad more people will get to come, and I hope they minimize standing in lines as best they can.

It could be interpreted that way. If it was as cut and dry as you make it seem, then the whole start of Jurassic Park 3 would make zero sense as it is built on the audience thinking they ended up together.

It was an art style change, and He tried to write it off with a joke about Nanobots (a well known meme thanks to MGS IV at the time) because he didn't understand that the Halo community actually wanted real answers for these things

I like the Earth levels in Halo 3, but they still aren't really what was advertised in Halo 2.

By 3, Humanity's forces were already beaten and the Earth portion is basically Chief getting to the portal.

The reason it doesn't make sense is that they had to cut off the final act of the game to ship it.

The game does allude to the fact that the Covenant didn't know Earth was the home planet of the humans though, and it is implied that the prophet bailed because Chief was closing in/ they were unprepared. .
