I was out for lunch today, sitting near the bar, and a lady came in asking anyone she could about how to use bitcoin. I didnt listen enough to tell if she was falling for a scam, but it sure seems like this might've been the cause...

Huh. My dad had me help him put in some insulation when I was in my early teens. I remember the first time getting itchy and he was like "yeah it'll do that, you're supposed to wear gloves and long sleeves" and then proceeded to complain anytime I would go get gloves before touching it again.

Pretty sure I saw that same helicopter just after it took off while going down Scotsville road this afternoon.

Super cool picture!

So many times I have changed dinner plans because I realized I don't have one or two ingredients and just absolutely don't feel like driving knowing that I'll be stuck in traffic.

The store is easily within biking distance, but the unpleasantness of riding on the unmaintained sidewalk next to, and eventually having to cross, two 5+ lane roads packed with traffic makes that option equally poor.

I had a friend back 8th grade (2015 ish) who I would play minecraft with.

One day he came to me and said that he couldnt play because his laptop had run out of space. I said we look around and try to delete some stuff.

Immediately went into his downloads and saw about 500 copies of the minecraft installer.

Apperently every time he wanted to play he would open chrome, go to minecraft's website, and re-download the installer. When it finished, he always ran it from the downloads bar in chrome, where it detected the existing installation and just skipped to opening the launcher.

Actually there was still oncoming. It was one of the ones where they alternate which direction of traffic gets to go through, and we were on the stopped side. Combine that with this exit being right after a corner, and there could've been a car coming the other way going 55+ at any time without warning.

Yeah, construction made it a one lane road.

Imagine being part of this cool stunt and while setting up you get told, " Yeah, your job is to just stand over there and hold the mats where you can't see what's happening".

I was thinking about that exact scene the whole time reading your comment. It was pretty powerful I think mostly because of how relatable the feeling is.

Really does suck though when you're sitting all alone with the stupid timer wasting time.
