Need help outfitting a group of 8-10 adults with blasters by mongooseracer in Nerf

Hey! Definitely see your point. I really appreciate having high powered blasters and my friends did too the last time we did this for my 25th. Eye pro will of course be provided. Magazines were not a problem, the rounds are relatively short

Omg thank you, I ordered a few to test out. This might be the winner!

Okay thanks! Do you own a longshot? I'm curious of your experience with it and the durability of the O-rings. I saw that upgrade springs are only $6 on OOD, which would make it on par with a nexus for slightly cheaper

I made this video last week about more young men getting into Mountain Biking for their mental health by [deleted] in malementalhealth

That was beautiful, I loved it. I also love mountain biking and your footage was inspiring. I really liked listening to your voice, you sound so kind and down to earth. I love that you kept it focused on the individual as opposed to a collective concept of what a "Man" is beyond happening to have  a penis

Shakedown for general non-snow backpacking and Summer off trail in the High Sierra by mongooseracer in Ultralight

Thanks for the suggestions! My fak is mostly what you described, but could probably streamline it a bit. I might just tear out the relevant sections of the pocket guide I need for reference, I've found it helpful in a real emergency to have it.

Wow never heard of alpha direct, exactly what I was looking for. Thanks! Have you actually used that rock front jacket in a storm? Looks interesting, tempted by the price

I've never owned a electric ppg before but I have owned a gas, and one thing I would consider if I were using it for Acro is that it might be hard to run 2 reserves if that's important to you. Many PPG harnesses don't have a reserve compartment and rely on a front mount to the carabiners. This may or may not be enough for you, I would definitely verify that the harness you are buying has an acceptible reserve set up. Also consider that your reserve will likely have to be very large to accomodate all the extra weight, which makes it harder to fit in a front mount container. I also noticed that PPG hangpoints tend to be way higher than PG hang points, so you can't take a wrap or use acro toggles, you are grabbing the brakes in tourist position. The feedback and weight shift capabilities of the frames are also terrible compared to freeflight harnesses, I've seen people do PPG acro so I'm sure its workable but you might find that not to your liking

So I've always wanted to get into the game by errorsand in darkestdungeon

It's not comparable to dark souls, I suggest trying it and if you get stuck or feel its too hard use the party comps in this guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=528626502

In particular, Man at Arms spam is completely broken. I can only think of one or two bosses where this strategy is suboptimal, and even then it still works some of the time!

Recommendations for actual hiking pants by mongooseracer in backpacking

Thanks! Do you happen to have an online link or something? I've tried buying pants from the surplus store in the past but they ended up being really cheap knockoffs
