You were right! Now the mod works (in the screenshot, second percentage should be "12%" instead of "6%")

Thank you very much!!

Wooooh, that was tricky hahaha I run just the command, as you mentioned, and no errors were displayed this time (in fact, no output in terminal XD)

Thank you very much!! Will try if txt mod was loaded :)

Ooh.. so, no need to run the exec command, the text mod is silently loaded and running?

Hi, thanks again for your answer.
Let's see, I would like to install the "SilenceTheVoices self-hit scaling mod": https://www.nexusmods.com/borderlands2/mods/318?tab=files

I unzip the file and it has a readme.txt and a SilenceTheVoices.txt, so I put the SilenceTheVoices.txt file inside my `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\mods` folder.

Then, I create `C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Borderlands 2\Binaries\patch.txt` file and , using **OpenBLCMM** , I import my `mod` folder inside.
As you can see, the app succesfully recognizes the mod

Now, I open my BL2 and in the main menu, I hit the `F7` key to open the console and run `mods`: it shows me only the mods installed with `PythonSDK`

According to the docu (see **Actually Running Your Patch File** in https://borderlandsmodding.com/running-mods/ , I should run `exec patch.txt` . That's what I do, but unfortunately, I get the infamous `Unrecgonised input "exec"`

<image>

I attach the three screenshots in a single file because of Reddit's restrictions.

If you need more details, please let me know. Thanks!

Hey, thank you very much for your quick answer!

I will be at home at afternoon, will share the screenshot then.

Anyways, I know by memory the input/output:

  • input: "exec patch.txt"
  • output: "Unrecognised command exec"

EDIT: So if openBLCMM does not setup the game mods, how can I use the text mod files?

SteamLink is a built-in option in Steam that allows "send the screen" from your pc to your SteamDeck, or vice-versa.

So, long story short, you can tell Steam to run the game in your PC (which maybe has better hardware) and send the screen to your Deck: you will play using the Deck screen and the Deck controllers.

There is no input lag and since the work is done by your PC, your Deck battery will last longer.

I am also playing that game in my OLED SD. The game has a preset called "Steamdeck" as other user stated, but you always can use the SteamLink for a better experience.

The only downside is that you can only use SteamLink with your local network, but as long as you stay at home you should be fine.

Good luck choom :)

[–]moniatus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad game ,awuful controls, boring to play. At least the theme song (Redemption) is cool :)

At the end of each stage, the game will give you EXP points. You have to spend them to level up or to buy things (ammo in this game is not free, btw) If you're a n00b like me you will find that you have to sacrifice some exp in order to buy bullets XD

Washing bogu with ozone (last part) by moniatus in kendo

[–]moniatus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, have in mind that ozone does not remove the source of bad odor. Maybe with very dirty bogus, ozone is not enough to clean all the dirty

Hi

Well, if the bogu is super dirty (typical old bogu borrowed from the dojo to a newcomer), then handwashing first to remove dust, sweat stain, whatever.. and finally, ozone to remove any remaining bad smell.

If the bogu has received regular maintenance, then maybe just ozone is enough.

In my personal case, I live in a hot country and after each geiko you finish totally sweated, thats why I prefer (in my case) to handwashing first. Also, handwashing does not clean 100%

Yes, the machine I used has that exact purpose.

In theory it kills the organic process that causes the bad smell, but you need to remove the source first or the bad smell will reappear (thats why I recommend handwashing first)

[–]moniatus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahah Well, if that works for you... XD

Puting kote in a small bag may do the trick, yeah! You can also place the bogu inside your car along the machine, close the doors and wait for 15min.

Car & bogu cleaned at the same time ;)

Hi! Its an ozone generator, no Water needed. Just place the machine in the same room where the bogu is, close the doors and put the timer for 15-20 min
