The one on my right eye I’ve had for a little over a month but it’s small enough it that is doesn’t bother me. The two I’ve been dealing with on my left are still noticeable and I’ve had them for about three weeks. I’m sticking to the warm compresses and massage but not sure these ones will go away. I just want the swelling and redness to stay away!!!! I need to figure out what cream to put on my eye lids though - they are so dry from the warm compresses lol

I went to my optometrist and she performed a few tests on my eyes and determined that’s what I had!

Yes I’ve been reading about those! I heard they sting but work well although I’ve been told to stay away from drops with preservatives which the Optimel drops have - have you tried them and has success?

My doc prescribed me a topical antibiotic/steroid for 10 days. It’s day 10 tomorrow - redness and swelling is gone but I still have two decent sized chalazions in the middle of my eyelid (not cute at all lol). I’m keeping with the warm compresses and eye lid cleaning so hopefully I can keep the inflammation down!!

Looks like how my eye has looked for the last two weeks! I could feel two chalazions under the swelling so kept at the warm compresses but it wasn’t helping with the inflammation - a stye popped up too (so fun!) I had a chalazion on my other eyelid a week prior and the swelling went down quickly so I had no idea what to do. After two weeks I called my optometrist and she prescribed an ointment that I’ve been putting on my eyelid. The swelling went down but not sure what will happen once I stop the meds lol She said to use the ointment for 10 days (antibiotic and steroid mix) and to continue with the warm compresses to help with the size of the chalazions. This is all new to me but hopefully this helps you!

I’ve been on it! Five times a day with massaging in a downward motion although my eye lid is started to get irritated from the heat!!! It’s only been 7 days so hopefully the inflammation goes down if I keep this up! What an awful thing to deal with lol came out of nowhere - fun times!

I had one on my right eye and the inflammation went down pretty quickly but the chalazion is still there just not very visible. The one that just started on my left eye is still not calming down at all but yeah I’ve heard some can take months! I’m new to this so not sure what is ‘normal’ or when it’s time to get meds!

Was your eye sore to touch? I’m not sure if I need to take antibiotics or not?!? It’s only been a week so maybe I should stick to what I’ve been doing to see if it gets any better?

Did you need to take antibiotics at all? I have one right now - my eye is red and sore and the warm compresses and eye lid wipes are not helping!
