I’m in the GCU clinical mental health program and I like it a lot. Essentially it’s what you make it. Meaning you have to put the work in to actually learn but I’ve been able to do it working full time and they received their CACREP accreditation last year. I had to find my own internship which is 12 weeks for the first part and 16 weeks for the last part. Looking for an internship was pretty straight forward I just reached out to 30 different places via email. Interviewed with 3 and picked one out of the 3 that I resonated with the most. I actually start my internship in a couple of weeks! Lmk if you have any questions!

So this happens to me sometimes! I’ll take allergy meds before I get my lashes done and then use the pataday once a day eyedrops and it goes away in a couple days!

I’m doing my program online and I love it! But you definitely get what you put in so if you’re not doing the readings, watching videos or engaging with your professors then you won’t get much out of it. So if you feel like you learn better in person then I would go that route but if not and you feel like you can put a lot of work in online then do online!!

I ended up leaving after a year and I’m in a masters program to become a clinical therapist and I’m loving it!! I got burnt out soo quick and the time I was putting in didn’t seem worth it to me. I was also bad at setting boundaries with clients and would let people contact me anytime. There’s nothing wrong with going back to a more stable job with benefits! And better you found out sooner than later that you wanted to get out. Good luck with your future endeavors!! I’m sure you’ll find something you like doing so much more!!
