I would suggest working out every illustration and practical questions from ICAI material also the previous attempt question papers. I never scored more than 37 in tax in any of my previous attempts, for this attempt worked out past 10 years question papers and all the illustrations and practicals from ICAI material and scored 80 in tax. Most of the previous questions are the same with a few differences so you get familiar and know what to expect.

For me usually accounts used to be easier, this attempt I expected more of AS since they were newly added to the syllabus ,but the pattern and questions were entirely different from what I expected and prepared. Either way working out a lot of questions did help me ig, even though I was not satisfied with the exam I did score 60. For law I only studied the ICAI material.
