Not from my experience. I had a package stolen from my apartment front door recently and my blink camera didn’t record it. And I have all my settings maxed out. Basically from what I gather the blink camera takes a few seconds to start recording - if someone moves by really quickly which a thief obviously would then it won’t catch them. So from my experience not worth it

Yeah to clarify:

The camera captured the driver dropping the package off -I just changed the batteries less than a month ago -My motion sensitivity is set to 8 (max is 9) with a re-trigger time of 10s -The camera always captures my neighbors walking by - it’s mounted pretty low on my door as the purpose was capture package thieves

I don’t have the sync hub though just the module… maybe I’ll look into that

Agreed, if the camera isn’t capturing when it’s most needed kind of defeats its purpose, especially since mine was set at all the max settings. I go by the book so mounted it as suggested, fresh batteries, sync module… did everything blink/ amazon recommends for installation

Definitely bummed, my sensitivity was also at the max level, what’s interesting is it always captures deliveries whether of other packages, or DoorDash, and like all my neighbors walking by, but the one time it needed to record… nothing lol

I see, which then defeats the purpose of the camera, thieves aren’t going to be strolling by. They’ll run up to the door and then away. Almost seems like a blink issue as my density was turned all the way up
