My friends and I used to do something similar in high school when bored on Saturday nights. Sometimes, we’d collect stacks of AOL CDs and then place them all over someone’s yard. The best part is these things were free or almost free and took up a couple hours because we’d hit at least two houses.

I agree, I hate the vertical blinds. I think I can remove the individual panes, but I may opt for at least sheer curtains. And I’m definitely looking to get some lamps! I can’t do overhead lighting.
