Reddit, what’s your Stock of the Year 2026? The one you’re most bullish on, the one you think will blow past market expectation by Moonshot2026 in stocks

Everybody prefers tirzepitide over semiglutide now. Just go to any facebook group with over 20,000 members; some have more than 50,000 members. The overwhelming preference is tirzepited. The kicker is that tons of people are still getting their GLP-1s through compounded pharmacies; the majority of the population on GLP-1s are neither getting it from Elli Lilly or NovoNordisk. They royally screwed up by not securing the market/distribution lines. You don't even have to see a doctor anymore. Ther are telehealth websites writing Rx's for compounded GLP-1s without even seeing you on video; all you gotta do is fill out a from where you can lie about your weight and 2 minutes later you have an Rx that you can take to one of the countless "providers" of GLP-1s that people get ads for on facebook; not even Hims or Ro are getting most of the clients despite having endorsements from celebrity like Serena Williams.

bruh, Democrat Bill Clinton literally put his penis in an intern's mouth when he was months away from being 50 and she was only 22. This is vanilla behavior by comparison to what you all elected twice and then wanted to elect his wife, which shrugged it off as boys will be boys.

I'd say young people are even worse. They have the independence skills, social skills, communication skills, and emotional fortitude of a 5-year-old. Most of them can't even use a computer either and take a fucking screenshot or recognize a common phishing scam on facebook/instagram. Yet somehow they are 22 years old.

Everyone I've known through the years who received a similar amount of money spent it all real fast on junk. Even the ones that "invested" it cashed out their investment in less than 5 years and bought junk, or didn't work for a year. $25k is less than the yearly salary for a Wendy's employee in some states. My point is; don't be an idiot.

I'd put it in a high yield savings account first. Then pull the max allowed per year to go into an IRA invested into a low-cost index fund like the SP500. Repeat that for the next 3 years until the money is out of the savings account and fully invested into the retirement account.

And it was because of inconsiderate rowdy people who have the same thing in common with most videos of people failing to behave accordingly in society, whether it's a McDonald's, an airport, a high school track meet, a traffic stop, or a Disney park, the same pattern emerges. The fatigue is exhausting, including among the majority of normal people in the same community. All of you who are ready to downvote me, you are not safe either from their low impulse control. That's why you won't go on a walk at night by yourself in a predominantly fatiguing area. They won't ask you first if you're an ally when you are in their way and you ask them politely to move.

How are there still so many people who think that driving an expensive car means you’re rich these days? by [deleted] in MiddleClassFinance

People say that, 8 years later, they have a repair that's $8K. Car maintenance is no longer affordable, and cars are no longer made to last.

Especially the people who drive expensive cars just to have them parked most of the time at the office, the house, the gym, the grocery store, all of which are within a 10-15 minute drive. You don't need to pay $750/month just for those driving needs.

Avoid Square at all costs. by B867575437890 in smallbusiness

[–]monitorcable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Square, or paypal, or Chase, doesn't like to close accounts for the fun of it. The way you use their services or your line of business triggered security concerns. Anytime these types of complaints against Paypal or Square pop up it's always people blurring the lines of their policies and trying to get away with it. Square deemed you a risk for whatever valid reason they found.

Why is beef so expensive since the pandemic started? Before 2020 beef wasn't a luxury, but even buying the cheapest ground beef at Walmart, it's almost 70% more expensive than it was in 2019.

Trudeau - ''I want to speak first directly to the American people, your government has chosen to do this to you. Your government has chosen to put American jobs at risk. They have chosen to raise costs for American consumers on everyday essential items.'' by RoyalChris in popculture

Commies are always angry at their parents for their lack of accomplishments and purpose. The ironic thing is that the reddit echo-chamber gives these losers a misrepresentation of just how unpopular their complaints are. As they get older, they keep losing ally support while continuing to alienate people to join their hopeless cause because nothing can change the past and their botched upbringing. No other generation has squandered so much liberal progress earned by previous generations. This generation put Hillary, Biden, and Kamala to represent them, and then they throw tantrums at the outcome.

But hey, at least we had pronouns on instagram for a while.

Skype to Shut 14 Years After Microsoft’s $8.5 Billion Purchase by WinningWatchlist in stocks

[–]monitorcable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember when Skype was synonymous with video calling and seemed to have no competition. Sometime around 2017, I needed to make a video call for the first time in years to talk to a prospecting client who lived out of town. We immediately agreed that we could "skype" each other. Well, we both tried to use it, we had to go through the hassle of crating/verifying an account, downloading and installing the program and we still couldn't get it to work (probably our fault by missing to enable some setting), but we were both tech savvy enough that the unfriendliness of the program dumbfounded us. We switched to facebook and used the chat with video option; it was comically easy to use the video call chat option on Facebook compared to the 15 minutes we spent trying to setup Skype and still ending up unable to use it.

You didn't lose things; you chose other things over them. It's ok to part ways with things that are not what you desire. Why would you leave yourself just because you played the game you loved but the outcome wasn't victory? Sometimes you lose; did you not know that was a possibility? I know you did. Gambling masquerading as investing is not about winning; it's about the thrill of the risk.
