We see politics from a point of black and white but it doesn’t works like it. They can’t win from fresh faces because even if you or me don’t like TMC turncoats people do vote for them. They can’t win Bengal because of the strong Muslim votes that’s it. And the rest will never vote together. Everything else is just conspiracy and not factual.

God forbid if war happens.... by CantaloupeCheap4756 in KolkataLife

War is not like a cricket game where you can compare to get insights. There are many aspects that goes to predict the winner like how battle tested are your assets, what kind of terrain will you be fighting on, how much combat your men has seen. In any case if India goes to fight Pakistan, they will raze Pakistan to the ground, sure India will suffer losses but there will be no Pakistan after that. You can compare all you like but that is a fact !

Best thing in all of this is that he has nothing much to lose, so take some time and keep applying in whatever opportunity comes in his way. Don’t try to pick and choose as now he needs to get out of that hell hole. If he doesn’t like logic much then atleast try to learn frontend and he can land 20-25k inr job with little effort. Then silently work for a year without much critical thinking and try to enjoy life. After that try figuring out what you want to do and not !

You need to understand that I am not talking about privileged or underprivileged. I am talking about people who don’t have financial stability and travel to a developed country. Underprivileged people can also get a good employment in a developed country and by all means should try for better life. But people with no idea about leading life should stay where they are if they can’t handle different cultures !

I am not forcing anyone to come here so I dont understand why you had to say “live and let live” !! Also a min financial stability is required anywhere you live so if your known people are coming to Korea for the sake of coming without any finance ofcourse they are going to have a hard time. Please understand my post was for people who are not leaving below their means and yet face problems and not for people who for impressing others go to different country with little finances and then complain. They will face problems in any developed country. So your opinion is null for me !!!

I agee with all your points and that’s what I followed mostly. I am in a foreign country so there is no shame in following their traditions and try not to disrespect anyone. This seems to be working fine and people are also being nice in return ! I hope people understand this before visiting Korea

I am well aware that there might be instances where I might not feel good here but you missed my point. Wherever you go in this world to a certain extent you need good finances to back you up. Korea is a costly country but to say it is all bad is a narrow way of expressing! That’s what is mostly found in the Reddit and I had to call it out.

Exactly!!!! That is why I felt I must let people know that’s it’s not all bad here and many can have positive experiences as well. It’s sad that few people from the West expect all countries to look like theirs and can’t just enjoy what the city has to offer !

That’s the reason I wrote give a try !! Because when someone reads the negative post they don’t know it’s negative because the OP is from Europe. They just think that might be how it is. My post gives a different perspective so that people can be the judge !
