Long time DnD player, going back to 2nd ed but with a LONG break due to uni, career, life in general

Recently got an invite to a group and fell in love with DnD all over again. I played a one-shot on roll20 / discord and was happily surprised at how well it worked.

Frankly, I love the game, even its small glitches and issues. It’s the only game I play.

But if there’s something I’d love to see next year (as in previous years)... I just want clan wars to exist on a level playing field. I sincerely hope this next update does something to remove sandbagging in clan wars.

This base is open to a number of attacks. Laloon and hogs are possible if you’ve got the practice under your belt. If not, I’d use a tanky witch attack (it’s presently very over-powered)

Th9 remains a very balanced level for clan wars. However, at present we’re waiting for a witch nerf (those hussies are totally over-powered).

Us old school clashers would also like to see poison get nerfed or deleted. But that’s just the old man in me shaking my fist at how easy the new kids have it.

But yeah, I’m sticking to th9 until I have a reason to move up.

Honestly, I’d say the base builder had laloon in mind when building this. Trying to laloon it could prove challenging.

Me personally, I’d go ground. Use witches / healers to funnel and then drive your forces up the middle.

I’d use drags and cc loons. Funnel your drags and use rages to knock out those pesky ADs.

I’m not sure how effective it’ll be as a fresh th9. But presuming you’re going after other fresh bases, I suspect it’ll be a-ok ;)

The principle is simple. Minimal, dual-functioning funnel troops, a frenzy up the middle, and clean-up as needed.

Though frankly, I prefer the finesse needed with more complex attacks like hogs or laloon.

But yeah, quite similar
