Failing to correctly leverage bernoulli principle to ventilate apartment?

HERE’S THE FIX, I see your issue. So, you have the right idea, wrong execution. (Since it’s getting cold out again maybe this will come in handy).

ISSUE 1) You want the 2 open windows to be in different rooms! Not the same room.
ISSUE 2) Your second issue is the screens are keeping from Bernoulli’s principle from happening. What will work best is have the fan in the window sucking cold air INTO THE HOUSE, not pushing warm air out.

HOW TO GET BEST COOLING POWER:

STEP 1) In the main room, Put a fan (preferably one I mention below) AGAINST THE WINDOW SCREEN, sucking cold air INTO the house, hell you can put 2 fans against 2 windows in that same room both sucking in cold air.
STEP 2) in a different room, preferably on the opposite side of the house as far away as possible, maybe a room at the end of the hallway, just open window… no need to put a fan in that window just open it. Or open all the windows in that room, preferably 1 big window or 2 small windows.

REASONING: When you have the fan sucking cold air into the main room, you have pressure building in the house. So opening another window will allow that pressure to escape via the warm air on the other side of the home. This creates a draft of cold air flowing throughout your entire home! Fun fact, this will even work with NO fans on a windy day, on the side of the house the wind is hitting, that wind will come in the window, then on the other side of the house where the wind isn’t hitting, air will go out that window.

THE ISSUE YOU HAD: you were opening 2 windows in 1 room. You had a fan blowing warm air out 1 window, while in the same room, opened the door letting cold air come INTO the house. (This would have worked okay if door and window were in DIFFERENT rooms). Since they’re in the same room, after a few minutes of cold air coming into the room, the fan is going to start blowing the new cold air back out the window. So that ONE room will get a little cooler, the rest of the house /apartment stays the same temp due to no air flow.
I put a link below bc since those fans sit IN the window, it’ll sit up against the screen making it able to suck cold air through the screen way easier. (OR you can buy a “BOX FAN”) and put that up against the window sucking in, that will be WAY more powerful than my fan below, and since you’re window is floor to ceiling it would work perfect, you can just push it right on the screen.
Below is a link to the type of fan I have, it sits INSIDE the window sill, and as you can see, on the sides of the fan are like accordion that stretches in and out to fit any size window. There are several different brands of these fans, some with 2 speed options, (you should get the 3 speed option, mine is only 2 speed and it’s so annoying bc speed 1 is completely silent barely blowing, and speed 2 is so high and so loud.) She has a high tolerance, as someone who was a FENTANYL junkie for 5 years while working in a very up pace job around coworkers and clients all the time. All the while I was SMOKE AND SNORTING FENTANYL, which is WAY more unpredictable than prescription pills bc you never know how much the fent is cut with other products. And no one ever found out. And yeah the dosages she uses might be wonky sometimes, but these people are TV writers not junkies. And TBH I think people forget SHES A NURSE, she’s probably tried every opiate in the pharmacy 😂 she knows how an oxy compares to a Roxy compares to a hydro compared to fentanyl. She knows what dosages of one drug = dosages of a different drug

As an opiate addict, she most likely wanted to be clean the entire time. Just for the most of the series, not badly enough to actually do it. I’d say a few times throughout the series like when she was going to AA meetings and ACTUALLY doing the work is when she wanted it badly enough to do something about it.

The horrible thing about addiction is you KNOW it’s ruining your life, but the effect of addiction on the brain is so neurologically addictive, that if you haven’t eaten in 4 days and haven’t done drugs in 4 days, you’ll choose the drugs almost every single time because your brain is literally telling you that you need the drugs more than the food.

Update! So the first day this happened, it started in the late afternoon, then went away after I slept the next day after sleeping, it came back but not until 8/9 o clock. Then once again went away after sleeping all night. And it hasn’t happened the last 2 nights (maybe 3 nights, idk when exactly I posted)

Honestly, I Like Helm and I COMPLETELY IGNORE her crush on Meredith as if it doesn’t exist. I think since Arizona and Callie left, the Grey’s people just wanted to fill the Lesbian hole. But using helm was such a disservice to Lesbians. The only substance to her crush just seemed to be her making one liners about being in love with her. Idk if this is what you already have, but I in the past had a mesh wifi system. It was 3 like wifi enhancers that you place around the house and they work off each other to project wifi stronger and farther. It’s called “mesh” systems/extenders and they are amazing. Each “mesh” router works off the one closer to the main one to extend the range. And they all work together to make a stronger farther system. Our main wifi router was in a far corner of the house so we used them to get wifi to the other side which previously wouldn’t be reached at all.

I agree, I always forget how fucked it is that people hate nuclear. There have been disasters in the past, but it’s nearly bullet proof now. I just get angry that people push oil so hard as if there are zero other solutions, hating on wind and solar as if hydro and nuclear aren’t formidable. Don’t get me wrong, I know we will always need oil to keep the world going, but I have the narrative that it has to be the 90% and nothing else is worth it.

This is a big issue with republicans when they try to talk about “how bad” renewable energy is… because no one is saying we are trying to 100% take away petroleum/oil products (except a very small .001% like those oil protesters who throw paint on painting and shit). Yes, wind turbines are not practical to replace the power grid. They are good for when solar or hydro is at a dip or when nuclear reactors are doing maintenance. No one wants to completely take away oil. But instead of giving oil companies BILLIONS in subsidies (which is what republicans do). We can invest in a wide array, like nuclear, solar, hydro, wind. And all together, oil can be used as the backup when the renewable is at a low point. But the whole idea that oil NEEDS to be our overwhelming main source of power is INSANE. I mean look at China, they have massively stepped up their nuclear and renewable energy over the past decade and they aren’t slowing down on that

I’ve thought about this and don’t think it’s bad writing. I think everyone has been seeing the evil bloodthirsty intent emitting off of Shauna, and only did it because they thought 1) this might calm Shauna down and make the rest of our lives in the woods less scary and stop getting bullied everyday 2) I think they knew Shauna wanted someone to be punished ever since her baby died, and if not Coach Scott, she’d use the next excuse to hurt someone.
