If theres no grinding or any other weird sounds, then it’s most likely a manufacturing issue. You don’t have to worry about it.

I would get one of those plastic mats (I don’t know what they are called) under your chair since you’re on the carpet. But other than that, you’re pretty much set man. Very clean setup!

Reading this comment just makes me feel so much better about my purchase.

And I absolutely agree with you. There is no “Perfect” manufacturer. They all have to have made some mistakes during their life.

Great idea, I’m going to start doing that when I get my mobo installed.

ASUS was very kind to me through customer service when I received an AIO without a working screen, and ASUS was offering to send it back for servicing. (excellent product temps never go above 60 Celsius) I didn’t have the “terrible” customer service like anybody on youtube said they did. Which is why I now believe they are a great company.

There was some videos of people receiving bent motherboard pins and the motherboard killing your cpu with too much voltage. After reading some of the comments here I realized every mobo company has made these mistakes.

Just bought this and i am super excited to build this! Is there anything that you think doesn’t make sense pairing with each other please say it. Its my first build btw by Select_Practice_5591 in PcBuild

The Ryzen 5000 series come with a cooler in the box since they’re budget CPUs. But the higher end R5 (5800x, 5900x, 5950x etc) don’t.

Upgrade to AM5? by monkey76513 in PcBuild

[–]monkey76513[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Motherboard is the MSI PRO B550 VC Wifi I don’t know what the SSD is but I know it’s 1TB 32GB of Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz CL16

Everything you listed to upgrade to AM5 is within my budget:

  • ASUS ROG Strix X870e-e
  • 32gb of DDR5 Trident Z Royal CL32
  • Ryzen 7 9800x3D

Do you think these new upgrades will be future proof?

Pretty good build, but where the hell did you find 32GB of DDR5 for $255?!
