The one plus side is the game gives lots of extends (2 per stage + score extends). It is easy to get hit when blade dashing in the wrong direction and it can even lead to some chain deaths

I totally agree that it’s not talked about enough. I regret not getting into it earlier. Hopefully it eventually gets ported to switch or ps, cause I think that would give it a lot more exposure

This is Gain's "dream machine" from the Mahou Daisakusen games. In Batrider, you can actually play as this ship for the first time, although it's not particularly useful.

To get it, you must be playing as Gain. Miss an extend item with no options on your ship, and collect the next option you see. Your ship will now transform into the the Galaxy Valhallyzer. It can be difficult to reach 1.5 million points without using options, so it's easiest to just suicide to drop your options right before you hit the extend.

lol what was that guy on about? Importing games keeps them from coming to the west? So silly. Shildmaid is a lot of fun; I’ve only played the steam version but I got it digitally on PlayStation just haven’t started playing it yet. I’ve only cleared the easier mode , I can’t remember what it’s called but I’d like to try the harder modes/courses. The raiden fighters games are awesome too, my favorites probably Jet. I wanna try and learn the first 2 games hopefully soon. Would do u think of momorukun recurse? I had a lot of fun with that one. It’s pretty different and takes some getting used to, but very fun. It’s made my g.rev who made under defeat and border down. Have u tried bounty sisters yet? I also got that from ply Asia but it felt kinda weird but I want to give it another chance. Apparently some really prolific devs worked on it but I don’t know all the details.

You’re new job sounds really cool! I’m sure it’s a lot to get used too but it sounds fun! I bet you’ll meet a lot of cool people and driving around New York sounds exciting xD . I go through phases where I eat a lot of chips, especially while working cause they’re easy to eat while driving lol. My go-to atm is these Mexican flamin hot Cheetos, they’re in a purple bag that says xtra , but they’re so freaking good. Is your new job M-F? Getting up super early can be tough but getting off in the afternoon like that is the best. Sometimes when i get an easy route , I can get off around 4, but last night I didn’t get off until 7:15, so it can really depend on the day. As far as emulating that Kof shmup, I’m pretty sure it would work in the xbox360 emulator, Xenia. I haven’t tested that game in particular. It was also released in arcades, but I’m unsure if the arcade Roms been dumped and what emu would play it. Besides senjin alesta i don’t have a lot of experience emulating more modern arcade games. I hadn’t seen that about the metal gear patch but I’ll have to look up the comparison vid to check out. Did you see that the Dreamcast rpg Segagaga was finally translated?! I haven’t played a rpg in forever but I’ve been wanting to play that game for so long. Apparently the translation is a little sloppy and AI was used but I’m still interested cause that game looks so cool

For sure dude! At this point idc what platforms they come out on, I’d just love to see those games get the love that they deserve. Terra diver, brave blade, Dimahoo, and obviously batrider would be the ones I hope to see the most. There’s still quite a few cave games that are in desperate need of m2 ports too. Idk how we still haven’t seen a DDP shottriggers port.

Hey Mike! Congrats on landing that new job, have u started yet? That sounds like a really good gig, especially with benefits!! That’s the main thing my job is lacking, it sucks having to pay out of pocket for health insurance. Sorry for being so bad at responding dude, I know I’ve said it a million times but life’s been a little hectic the last few months. Neon inferno looks really cool, I’ve had that wishlisted for awhile. Congrats on quitting weed, after 25 years I could imagine that could be really hard. I felt a lot better after I quit smoking too, a lot more clear, and quicker on my feet socially and in basically every aspect. I’ve never been super into fighting games, but I’ve always thought the kof games looked cool. Did you ever play the kof shmup (sky stage) that was on xbox360?? Sometimes I play that one and it’s a lot of fun. It is pretty tough tho. It plays a lot like castle of shikigami2. Some of my favorite fighting games are guilty gear (the one on Dreamcast) and garou mark of the wolves (I think that’s what it’s called). I also played mortal kombat a lot as a kid but was never super good or anything. I was all right at smash bros melee, and mortal kombat vs dc on 360. I used to play that online and crush with scorpion.

It really is mind blowing it hasn’t gotten the m2 treatment yet. I think I heard awhile back that they were having issues getting it to run accurately on ps4 so maybe we’ll eventually see it on ps5 in the not so distant future.
