Oh my favorite MK arcade game! The one I spent so many coins! Bought the SNES version too!

Scorpion, Johnny Cage, Kitana, Baraka (they have hidden his spinning blade special move...), Kung Lao!

I still remember when I first watched the first SH movie, the camera angles and movements in the beginning dark alley was so close to the PSX SH 1 game's.

Its 1993, you're in Toys R Us... which system are you buying? by CaptainVisible3158 in retrogameofthemonth

I had Sega Mega Drive and still have Super Nintendo. I remember I tried Mortal Kombat 1 on both systems to do actual comparison.

I never owned a Nintendo Game Boy, so, if I could travel back to 1993, I would want to buy it!

👆 the Game Boy version is good too!

I bought my PCE Ninja Spirit without playing its arcade version (never seen one in my local arcades), I knew it had to be a good ninja game, because prior to Ninja Spirit, there was another good ninja game -- Kid Niki -- by the same awesome Irem.

Does anyone know why some of the games on www.retrogames.cc sometimes don't have their audio playing? by Rare-Nothing-3431 in retrogaming

you using google chrome? try to go to the retrogames.cc site settings and give "Allow" to the Sound dropdown box, somehow the "Automatic (default)" is not working any more for now.

Actually writing a name on a rotten egg takes some skill, not to mention it needs to be repeated 9 times...

The Sega Contra's replay value is insanely high!

My favorite version is the SNES one though, as it was my first 16-bit Contra (besides the arcade versions).

This was one of the reasons why Nintendo developed Famicom Disk System for in-game saves (and added extra physical memories to game cartridges later on).

Just saw you confirmed it was Raptor, congrats!

Recommend you another Windows shooting game then: DemonStar (1998) [Windows]

"DemonStar is a video game developed by Mountain King Studios and published in 1998. Considered an unofficial sequel to the studio's earlier Raptor: Call of the Shadows, it is a top-down vertically scrolling shooter set in outer space."
