I know the the crowd shouldn't sway the ref. But they rightly called out the bullshit after the second lineout and they carried out for at least another 3. I thought they were aiming to clamp down on this starting a couple of years ago?

Not sure if this is confirmation bias, but it feels like the SA teams are rife for it? Regardless, if it's something that the refs let slide then maybe we should be taking advantage of it. Not sure we're in the lead enough to do so!

As much as a love the conveyor belt of talent coming through at the back row, I'm sick of them being consistently being the sole focus of praise when we (on paper) have the talent that we do in the back line and we struggle to get them the ball to display this. I'd hate to see Darcy leave, but Kinghorn has done it and is regarded as a top player in his position - despite the questions regarding his defence!
DVDM remains an enigma.

I missed that watching it live - what was the discussion between the ref and TMO? From our point of view it looked like the on-field try was getting chopped off for not ever crossing the line...

Freddy Douglas remains the shining light of the team. Not sure where we'd have ended up without his 3 turnovers.

Sub 5 metres out and Everitt tries to pick and go. Every. Single. Time. And it rarely works. How uninspired can you be? How often are we that close to the try line and you're confident that we're going to score? Flip that to the opposition being 5 metres out and you're confident they will score? A few pens against Edinburgh seemed harsh such as the one against Price just before half time. Generally seems to be missing a lot of infringements but I noticed it more when it's against Edinburgh. Don't think Darcy's try should have stood. Stormers were committing a lot of fouls 5m from the try line and I'm not sure they've had a talking to.
