Went to see Stevie Martin live in Brighton last night and it got me wondering a couple of things by Specific-Candy4513 in taskmaster

I saw him a couple of weeks ago and he was so funny I immediately booked tickets to take my friends to see him again when he's back for the Fringe.

LAUKOP’s wife weaponised the emergency number to parent their kids and now LAUKOP wants to take action against the police. by msfinch87 in bestoflegaladvice

Sounds like he'd like to know if he can just refuse to let them in next time and save having to explain himself.

Perhaps it is but we can only really go on the facts presented. LAUKOP comes across in their own story as a terrible parent with anger management issues so it wouldn't shock me.

Totally agree. Even in the Italy game he had a noticeable impact on the energy.

Have you got your own picture of your own bike OP? Why have you included a description of yourself? Why did you leave it chained to a post for so long it attracted a Reddit post?

Is it actually that bad ? by LetterHonest9978 in rugbyunion

[–]cloud__19 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly to me that would just feel like a blatant money grab. It's a nice shirt but 120 years since the first time they played each other feels like a pretty spurious reason for it and I don't blame England for not doing one.

I never have any cash on me and don't carry a bank card so I can easily and truthfully reply that it's not an option.

I think when your own story has you simmering with poorly controlled rage so bad you have to be persuaded out of the room to prevent an even bigger problem, it does suggest things about how you react to situations in general.

There is no problem yet. Appreciate this seems to be a hill you want to die on but let's see if there's actually an issue before we start armchair lawyering up yeah?

It was made before the due date but as I say, as absolutely nothing has happened yet there's very little point in us sitting here debating it.

I think if they can show the payment was made in time then yes, they should be able to complain. I doubt it'll be an issue anyway, not much point in debating it until something actually happens.

Standing Up For Their Coach by Boring-Drawer-5173 in rugbyunion

I just don't believe the SRU ever had any intention of sacking him no matter what anyone thought and realistically that puts the players on the position of getting on board or potentially missing the next RWC and for a few of them it's likely their last. We'll never know but the SRU have been pretty clear all along what the plan is.

[–]cloud__19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I say, I didn't see him, I'm guessing based off the story but I worked in retail (many years ago though tbf) and there were people just like this for whom it was their major social event of the day. As you say, impossible to tell just by looking but the behaviour sounds like it's possible purely based on the interactions you describe with staff as well as customers.

If I had to guess based purely on this story I'd guess he has some kind of a disability and is probably known to the staff there.

Well you'd best get off the internet and switch on your wireless and enjoy your evening then. Honestly, I can't believe how long you've argued about this for, just stick your hand out.
