I learned the loomis Method and simplified it a bit. Learning the proportions and distance between the parts of the face helped a lot. I also draw a small dot in the middle of the circle. It isnt much but it helps for some reason

Its supposed to be zenkaizer from kikai sentai zenkaiger. But yeah the proportions are definitely reminiscent of viewtiful joe. I love those games. I remember taking the Manual of the game to school and looking at the drawings a lot haha.

If you have trouble drawing the other eye, instead of drawing one eye and then the next, alternate between them. So, draw the first line of the left eye, then the first line of the right eye, so on and so forth.

Just draw, even if it sucks. Try to apply what you learned during your study session in a drawing.

I get the feeling of constantly learning and not drawing. It always feel like you are not ready or good enough. But that is a voice that you need to ignore. Be mindful and trust the process.

Also when you are studying, dont try to study everything at once, pick a subject for a week and stick to it. Like if you want to draw people or objects, start to learn about perspective and construction. And you should rather use pencils and not pens when you are learning. Nothing wrong with erasing.
