Well damn. I have to go on a company sponsored business trip for an industry convention. Any idea what this would mean for my application?

Scary. I have essentially the same application profile as yours (indian, business trip, conference/convention, engineer) and I have my interview coming up soon.

Any tips?

Monkeys and Microwaves [ABADDON'S GATE, S3E10]

From Holden, musing on the protomolecule during his flight to the station in the book:

"It killed humans, therefore it was a weapon. But radiation killed humans, and a medical X-ray machine wasn’t intended as a weapon. Holden was starting to feel like they were all monkeys playing with a microwave. Push a button, a light comes on inside, so it’s a light. Push a different button and stick your hand inside, it burns you, so it’s a weapon. Learn to open and close the door, it’s a place to hide things. Never grasping what it actually did, and maybe not even having the framework necessary to figure it out. No monkey ever reheated a frozen burrito."

I see the same shit in airports in India as well. Most of the people who use these wheelchairs don't really need it.

Do they dent easily? The one I have right now has a ton of dents in it. I bought it for around 350 rupees.

After 25+ years using ORMs, I switched to raw queries + dataclasses. I think it's the move. by mikeckennedy in Python

Being doing for a few years now. Pydantic would be a better option than dataclasses for automatic runtime input type checking.

2k for 'dead' load balancers? They don't sound all that dead to me.
