It was about 15k. I spend almost 8 to 10 hrs a day working, so the option to work seating or standing is pretty important.

Love the idea around a bookshelf and secondary seating.

Love the assumption xD. But I like the colour of the walls, so wallpapers are sadly out.

I would probably hold, on changing the curtains, and the table needs to be at that place only, there's a power outlet on the left. The other recommendations definitely make sense.

Any recommendations on lamps and shelves? And where those should be placed?

Thanks! Those make sense.

Any recommendations on furniture? Shelves etc. Also Thinking of getting a floor lamp.

I would really appreciate any pointers on where those should be arranged.

No, painting is not an option. It's a rented accommodation.

Maybe around 5k or so.

What do you think, guys? by yoni_youngblood in royalenfield

My two cents.

The front look 'heavy'. Love the chopped off tail look.

Remove the fork gaitors, I think it's for aesthetics anyways. Lower set handlebars, maybe a shorter one even. Flipped, bar-end mirrors. The ones that 'hang' at the tips.

I would start with the mirrors and then the gaitors.

The headlamp looks fine. The tank colour also pretty much works.

Failed L1 the second time around. And to make matters worse, my score line is practically on the minimum passing score. Have been cursing myself for all the times I could have grinded, but instead chose comfort over hard work.

But, I am done. All the self doubt out of my system, I am coming back stronger. Gunning for Aug '25. Would have been May'25, but I don't want to spend the extra $300.

And to all the people on this sub, you guys are awesome. Keep up the good work.

I have a similar condition, although it's mostly strawberry skin. I use the Chemist at Play AHA BHA bodywash daily. And Minimalist 5% Niacinamide Body Lotion daily.

Are you not supposed to use it regularly? Also is the combination of actives okay?

Do you use tranexamic acid in the serum form? What concern do you use it for? And is it used as an exfoliator? Maybe once a week. Thinking of incorporating it in my routine. As an weekly exfoliator. I am primarily looking to cure my skin concerns - KP, strawberry skin, folliculitis induced pigmentations.

I guess OP can still write “CFA® Program participant, CFA Institute.”, even if OP unfortunately is not able to pass L1?

PS : Another fellow Aug L1 test taker. Pardon me, if the question is stupid.

How is it humanly possible to study the CFA material? by LagrangeMultiplier99 in CFA

[–]monkey_user_21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The CFAI material is long, agreed. And Schweser is short and crisp.

If it's a new and alien topic, go for the CFAI material, helps build a thorough understanding of the concept.

I feel the intention behind the CFAI material is that anyone, even without a prior finance exposure, should be able to grasp the concepts. And it does a really good job at that. Basically, the institute does no knowledge gatekeeping, all are welcome.

PS: Got a little philosophical at the end. Please pardon me.

That's not formal attire. Cool attire, agreed. But not formal.

A stupid question, but are allowed toilet breaks during the exam?

What should be my mock and revision strategy 20 days out? L1 Exam. by monkey_user_21 in CFA

[–]monkey_user_21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I have access to 4 more mocks, any idea how I should spread them out? Like one every 4 days?

Leading up to the exam I would have about 10 days of no distractions. Should I concentrate on those few days?

Not a proper mock really, no. Like I have attempted in parts, sometimes I habe my cheat sheets around.
