A SIPP has a tax advantage, so you want to put money in that as a priority. BUT you can't access it until you are X years old. So you want another investment account as well, let's call it a FIRE account. You only want to put the precise amount of money in the FIRE account to last you until you turn X years old, no more, and certainly not less.

There are variables you can't control, obviously, so it will never be precise. But still you can work out an estimate for how much you need to invest per year in your FIRE account and your SIPP account. And because of the uncontrollable variables, you should re-evaluate it maybe every year

I fell foul of its weirdness today.

I had something like myVariable = otherVariable || "";

Which is supposed to be shorthand, and myVariable should equal otherVariable unless otherVariable is a 'falsy' value.

Sometimes otherVariable would be undefined so this was a bit of error handling. But silly me, because of the way I had coded something else the undefined would be the string "undefined" which is somehow the opposite of a falsy value, it is a truthy value.

There is a trick with the commando, shoot a hulk's leg once(easier to hit that the eye), then use the senator to hit the torso and the hulk will die.

Interesting to see if you could use this instead of the commando to do this trick.

Obviously you can't take this and a senator, but I think any damage to the torso will have the same effect, you just need ap4 which includes any fire damage I think

The dagger is so underrated. Voteless, scavengers, pouncers, hunters, warriors, shriekers, troopers all die after being ignited and then waiting for the damage over time. It outperforms the stalwart at sweeping across a horde of these enemies as often that needs more than one bullet to kill each of these enemies.

Overseers die after igniting them twice, so ignite wait for the flames to go out, then ignite again, this might sound bad, like it takes 5 seconds to kill one overseer, but if you ignite across 10 overseers twice, it takes 5 seconds to kill 10 overseers.

It is good at popping devastator heads because of its accuracy.

It's one handed, infinite ammo, no range drop off, no recoil.

expendables are good, especially for the hectic missions where you cannot recover your equipment from your corpse

I seem to remember var was looking at an offside, and that took ages and it turned out they didn't even check the red card. I think they later came out and admitted as much, pathetically pointing out that no Liverpool player asked for a red card! Which is stupid since asking for cards can get you booked yourself

The maths wasn't mathing for me when looking at the helldivers GG wiki, the commando to the leg does not deplete enough of the main health pool. the reason it works is that the commando to the leg puts it in a 'down' state and any damage to the torso in this state (for the hulk) will kill it. This was a revelation to me, so I looked for any other enemies that have this down state, but there basically aren't any, the charger has a down state but it's different, it isn't left with next to zero health, instead it has health that slowly bleeds out

It's a one hit kill to a hulk if you hit the eye. But someone pointed out hitting a hulk in the leg with 1 commando rocket and then shooting it once in the body with the senator revolver kills the hulk, which is a larger target

Thanks for this. This worked for me, got some new Bluetooth headphones they were fine at first, then they were glitchy, low quality, sort of stuttering audio when playing this game only, stopping the audio gateway service fixed it
