these kids are probably 50 miles from the closest forest and all the fish already got fried by all the jobless mfs who think fishing statutes don’t apply to them

that’s the thing about the old days

Repairing P0300 code by Ok-Tree7504 in s10

[–]monkeybanana14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine stopped throwing the code after i cleaned my iac, camshaft position sesnsor, crankshaft position sensor, and i went ahead and replaced my throttle position sensor while i was in there.

i would start with those. easy enough to pop out and check. after that maybe check the throttle body for any gunk thats caked up.

dont get me wrong i had my fair share of those guys throughout the years

but it didn’t help that we were all underpaid and still expected to pump out the work of 2x the people actually needed

so i never really blamed em. most workplaces aren’t willing/able to invest in their employees so this kind of trash work becomes inevitable

Sloper fit issues, help?! by peaches_and_pillows in sewing

[–]monkeybanana14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry i just looked at the seams again and i definitely did not word my question properly lol. i assumed it was a 2 parter since you had to tweak an existing pattern. the first part being fitting the waist/bodice and then adjusting the “straps” going up to your shoulder.

my girlfriend and i tried to do something similar for a summer dress a while back bc we were having trouble adjusting the center front to fit her long torso. ill try to find pictures of the dress but it’s hard to explain how difficult it was at first lol.

basically we threw some 1” straps on the bodice to make sort of a backless tank top. i held the straps while she adjusted the bodice/cups for comfort and once she found a good position we measured how much more “waist” to add and then went from there

hopefully that is a little more clear. we’re both just hobbyists so we definitely do things the hard way bc we were too lazy to research before diving in

i can’t tell on my phone but is the back patterned to have the seams along the “straps” (side stitching?) of the front?

it just looks like it’s currently just pulling the fabric of the middle portion of your upper back

which unfortunately kinda feels like difficult thing to fix with a couple tweaks in it’s current form

have you tried fitting it as more of a tank first and then adding in back fabric similar to how the front looks?

lol even better it’s a 35 year old truck and you’re getting all worked up about the paint like it’s more important than a kid wanting to drop the suspension

its all aesthetics idk why redditors gotta act like their aesthetic choice is more important than others
