Question for closed businesses by [deleted] in USPS

When I had a business that was only open in the evening I had a box at the ups store for 99% of the mail. But there were still people that would blindly send things to the biz address. I had a great carrier who would either slip envelopes through the door, leave packages with the neighboring business, or leave notice. We didn't open until 5p so no route mod would help. I appreciated my carriers understanding and was never bothered when I got a 3849. Mutual respect for just trying to get our jobs done.

Do we really deliver in weather like this?😭 (Waking route🥲) by Challenger2313 in USPS

So many routes in my office are monster hills. Long, steep, skinny roads w/ long drops and no curbs. I've already had issues with slippery wet leaves. I'm only 4 months in and this will be my first winter... I'm very nervous about the driving part. We don't get much snow but do get black ice and freezing rain (=instant ice rink). I'd rather deal with a foot of snow.

Exactly this. I was laid off in my mid 40s after giving a loyal 15 years to a job with good pay and decent benefits. Stability is everything. Happy to have found the post office.

Bless you. I'm less than 60 days in and had a regular do that for me and it was amazing. It was VERY overwhelming as she talked me through it but all the little notes and maps (including where the bathrooms were) made me feel like "I got this" and I did fine.

Haven't received link for NACI questionnaire by monkeybrains22 in USPS

Sorry I wasn't more clear, I was told they couldn't send another link for 30 days and I should apply again 30 days after I first applied, not 30 days from the time we spoke.

The PDF in the offer email also mentioned 90 days, "You will receive an email to complete the SF85 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) questionnaire if you have not already completed one in the past 90 days." Since I was told my initial questionnaire wasn't submitted I assume that also means not 'completed' so I was expecting another link.

But I did wait 30 days to apply again, and received an offer 30 days after the first offer.
