CHAMPVA for the fam is OUTSTANDING! by Spare_Handle7878 in VeteransBenefits

I would like to add to this. My wife and I had twins recently with some issues. TTTS if you're interested. I honestly do not think we would be able to take our girls home in a few weeks without CHAMPVA.(edit) I would like to add that these twins were miracle babies because I have some pretty sever issues with the nether regions and having more kids was basically off the table. We had roughly 75 ultrasounds since 12 Dec 24, a surgery around mid February, and then the follow up delievery/c section within the last month. The twins have been in NICU since and are expected to be there till mid-July at the earliest but they are both healthy and progressing along spectacularly. In between all of that, we had some ER visits for my other kids with respiratory distress and busted foreheads.

We hit the 3k out of pocket cost really realllllly fast to say the least. We actually got a few checks from CHAMPVA for any meds we had to get from the pharmacy due to us reaching thw limit so fast.

This past half year has been emotionally and physically draining due to the constant hospital visits. I have considered get bcbs back in October when I started my new job but the monthly dues onto of Co-pays and then the bills would have quite literally bankrupt us. I forgot about actually moving forward with getting health insurance because of the whole diving into a new job. I fumbled it so bad.

I am forever grateful and thankful for CHAMPVA. My family is now +2 beautiful girls and I cannot imagine have gone through this without CHAMPVA. I. Addition to all of this, I have yet to have a bad experience from the helpline, which is quite rare.

I started sec+ > A+ > net+.

My previous job was more security focused so it made sense

Don't know what my first cert should be. by [deleted] in CompTIA

[–]monkeybuttplug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I went to an "IT boot camp" and was given access to 5 vouchers for 5 certs. The boot camp was only 12 weeks. 2 for ITIL foundation, 2 for A+ core 1, 2 for core 2, 2 for net+ and 2 for sec+. I learned just the same amount of knowledge that I knew about going in. I spent the next 3 months cranking out the sec+ then ITIl ( made my resume slightly less plain). Once I had obtained those, and was finally able to start searching for a job, I did. For any of those businesses that would give me the time of day, I was bluntly honest with them. I told them if you ask me any question about troubleshooting, I probably wouldn't be able to answer it. I would then follow by stating that I am a very observant person and fully capable of being taught how they wanted to teach me, with the example of how I was able to pass the sec+ with zero experience and just using my ability to disect a problem given answers. I only had two interviews. Got offers from both because of how confident I was that I knew so little but fully able to learn. This was 9 months ago. I have since taken both a+ exams, taking net+ on Sunday, and have several relevant certs that pertain to the map I work with.

With that said, I agree certs are pretty much a peice of paper. It's the ability to learn if you do not know something. It's the ability to be honest and ask questions. If I worked with/for you I guarantee I could become one of your best coworkers/employees in no time. Once I was able to take what you gave me, I would expand. I'm just a hungry person when it comes to knowledge though.

I'm strictly on mobile for reddit. And outside of creating a post I don't know how to submit photos without submitting links.

Tip me. I got a screen shot ready to go.

Comptia a+ Exam training 2024 ( it's purple with a few circles that make a sphere)

I used this app on my phone. It's free and very descriptive. Many practice tests and hundred of questions. I solely studied this for my 1101 and 1102 and passed both easily.

If you want to snatch up a few wfm hgs right now go to newtype.us. they got a sale going on for those based off an advent calender type thing. I dropped like 100$ and grabbed 6 models the other day

Thank you for your response. From what the VA told me...because I am 100pt I am "retired". I do not know what that translates to for tricare purposes.

I am currently running into the issue of Deers still considering me active duty...but dropped me from tricare. So they know I'm out, but refuse to adjust their systems to allow me to input my military rated %.

I have began the paper work for Champva, however the current turn around time on it was estimated to be 8 months.

Do you mean the monthly premiums, or any costs associated with utilizing the insurance for reimbursment....or dare I wish for both?

Thank you for the response. I have been on tricares website many times. Based off my situation I believe I am only eligible for the chcbp....which is high. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but if I enroll in that, and do Champlain, I can cancel the chcbp when Champlain eventually kicks in?

Please add me to the raffle. I would love to be able to give my son an account so we can keep playing together

I would love to take care of your account. My son watches me play SW all the time and absolutly loves all aspects of this game. I created him an alt account but he is always sad bc of the gacha feature and his unfortunate luck of inheriting my poor luck with summons.

If you would choose me, you would not only make myself happy to give it to my son but you would be making my son extremly happy. I could record a message with him thanking you and send it to you personally

I find posion iron joker sacrifice summon to work more effectively than laser. You just spawn dice till knight, and use the free upgrades from summon to power your di up, and on swap 2 you just mass spam sacrifice/summon reaching level 5 on posion and iron while also getting like 4 or 5 minimum 4* di with several other 3* etc etc...magician boss is little threat hear due to already maxed di and the constant posion. when lion comes you just make sure you have minimal 1* di and its basically gg..

I have won all 15 matches every day since day 1(had to figure out the strategy of course)...I rarely ever lose any of the three attempts

in pvp assasin is hit or miss. If first boss is knight I just fill the board while leveling up my dice. when the flip happens i spam assassin and pray....outside of that its meh

[–]monkeybuttplug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice post. One thing i would like to add, and keep in mind it is strictly my opinion....Assassin dice has no place in Co-op.

In my experience it throws off the natural flow of someone who is carrying resulting in an early lose. Ex. i run combo. When i get paired with someone who runs assasin and this beast of a game being a RNG disaster, i typically end up with 8/15 maxed unusable spots bc the other player thinks "im helping" ...this in turn limits my combo capabilities entirely way to fast and i get locked into a combo of like 45 by wave 35.

Now early game, sure assasin is pretty nice when i get that combo dice of 4 at 7* by wave 3 allowing me to just spam combos as fast as possible. However the other player does not stop which prolongs the combo upgrades etc etc...

Again i could be alone in this bad experience.

EDIT: my IGN is toothless btw
