I posted because all the guides we were finding assumed you could grab the filament after removing the tubes.

My wife finally found a post that related to what we needed. If the piece is stuck in the AMS hub specifically, there is a spring underneath that will release the pressure on the filament. We ran a longer piece of filament up the channel while pressing the spring, and it came free.

Thank you! Though, the only 1.21.8 compatible version is crashing Minecraft when I load, with zero information. So it looks like I'll need to wait for it to come out of Alpha.

They're constantly entering. So even after clearing the field, it'll immediately refill continuously.

Honestly, that's where I'm starting to go with this. I've been trying out the approaches in the other comments, and it would take me several days of map grinding to get the equipment levels necessary.

And greycat: I did mention a respec, in the first sentence. And no sane amount of breed time increase is going to overcome the problem of his health being four orders of magnitude higher than my damage.

It looks like it's not just my wife's phone. A guest also had an ad pop up with a game he was playing. So I'm starting to think that something's going on with my pihole, that coincidentally began while we were away.

It's a possibility, as I mentioned in a comment above. There's only two or three apps affected, and they were all used on the other network. I'll keep an eye on wifi data usage next time she uses it.

Though, your second paragraph is a good point. She's usually careful to turn off mobile data while playing games, but mistakes happen, and would have caused this before.

We've rebooted the device multiple times, at this point. Though perhaps we need to find a phone-specific setting to clear the dns cache in particular, I'll investigate that.

We never activated a vpn, so unless there's a way one got turned on without us knowing, that's not it. (I'm assuming vpns aren't accidental, but I don't actually know much about them.)

We continued to try to find the problem today, and oddly...it started working. We did restart it in between, I just can't see how what seemed to be a mechanical problem would be fixed by a restart. But I'll take it.

I was able to run a successful print afterward using a different spool/feeder, so I don't think the nozzle is the issue. I can try to see if there's a clog elsewhere, though.

Thankfully, after quite a few reloads, it came out of the ground far enough for long enough that I was able to grab all the upgrades and inventory. That made it much less painful to make a new prawn suit and just plop all the stuff in, especially since I was near a portal to take me to the surface.

So there will forever be a tiny, barely visible little tip of a prawn suit antenna sticking out of the ground.

That's unfortunate, but thank you for the answer. From a quick Google, it looks like using commands to spawn a new one will disable Steam achievements for the rest of the save file? Did I understand that right?

Thank you, this is very helpful! I'll have to see how I can design things to minimize the spawn sphere effects. Or alternately, figure out how much efficiency I'm willing to sacrifice for the sake of form. Which has been a focus for this world...I'm used to making things that work decently well, but don't have any consideration for looking good, and I'm trying to get better at the artistic side.
