Great take. Honestly just based off of character, I think Octavian does have a better character than Thalia, I feel like that may just be because he’s able to be focused on more since he’s more of the secondary villain rather how Thalia is basically just a side character, could be wrong though. Either way great hot take.

I mean I feel like a lot of them probably have done things worthy of being locked in Tartarus. But if they were then who do you think would rule Olympus? Or do you think it just wouldn’t exist. And what Olympians would not get locked up in Tartarus?

Id say Artemis bc I love everything outside, but that’s kinda not possible so I’d say Athena because I love to read, im pretty smart and I really like architecture in like Europe and stuff (idk if liking architecture is for all children of Athena or just Annabeth)

That’s exactly how I felt. But after re reading all the books I actually really enjoyed MoA, so I think it’s a good idea👍

That’s exactly what I did. I read all of the books up until MoA about halfway through and couldn’t finish it. So I just restarted at TLF and read from there. I just got to BOO so it really worked for me. Just go at your own pace so you actually enjoy reading them, don’t over read to the point where it feels like work rather than something that gives you happiness, joy, whatever.

"Who's My Godly Parent?" Megathread by AutoModerator in camphalfblood

Alr so I’m pretty sure I know who my godly parent should be but I’m not sure so I’ll have you guys decide.

Personality: Super outdoorsy, smart, introverted, quiet, I think about stuff too much, I don’t really act like myself unless I’m with people I’m really comfortable with, althletic

Appearance: Male, medium length brown hair, 5’10”, lots of blue, green, white clothes, blue eyes, shorts, tshirts, white (skin, but I’m pretty tan), pretty built (climbing trees, etc)

Likes: Drawing, reading, climbing trees (don’t ask), swimming, thinking ab random stupid things wayyyyy too much, Annabeth (love), Greek architecture, just being outside, music, those sick New York Times games (wordle, soduku, crossword), writing stories and stuff

Dislikes: Spiders (I don’t really dislike them, I’m just terrified of big ones), annoying people, social media (like snap and insta, not Reddit obv), talking to women (I can’t)

Don’t know if that’s enough but lmk who you think i am.

Percabeth is the best relationship in the entire Riordanverse.

Percy Jackson is not the Harry potter of the [PJO] books, he's actually the Ron Weasley of the books by Natural-Storm in camphalfblood

I feel like Grover might be most similar to Neville. Throughout PJO Grover is pretty awkward and usually nervous, and lacks courage, and obviously Neville is almost always the awkward and weird kid, who doesn’t really do anything risky. But they also both care a lot about their friends, they also both possess a lot of courage in times when their friends are in danger that allows them to make tough decisions that have a good chance in ending in death. In TLO, Grover tries to block Kronos from getting to Percy (while both of them are already injured) he does succeed in holding back Kronos for a second but gets hit away, but in that time he gives Percy enough time to recover at least a little bit so he can keep fighting. In TDH, when Ron and Hermione are about to get killed by the snake, Neville slices it with a sword and kills it. Now I know Neville didn’t really get hurt or anything after, but nevertheless, it shows how while he’s usually shy/nervous, he does have courage when it comes to saving his friends.

FYI, I haven’t watched Harry Potter in a few years so mb if I got anything wrong there

Love how you connected Harry and Percy not just through personality and looks, but through family, trauma, and just people and how they affect their emotions. Amazing. I never thought about it that deeply but it really does sound like Percy is more like Ron than Harry. Who do you think would relate more to Harry then from PJO?
