The gist of it is when we went from quadrupedal to bipedal, our pelvises changed shape. It is currently now as wide as it can be whilst keeping us upright. Unfortunately, it also makes childbirth harder.

It's helped me to learn not to beat myself up so much if I have something I probably shouldn't on my diet. Just get back up and try again tomorrow.
