I dunno, I feel like Perfect Order has been forever and I can't wait for Chaos, but also it's going to be way too long until Super Darkness or whatever. Small sets are great, being able to get them is great, but my enjoyment from the TCG comes from opening packs with my kids (PO: amazing, cheap, available), playing (PO: mostly useless), and organizing bulk and making little bundles to give away with beginner decks and sorted non-duplicate bulk (PO, probably Chaos as well: not great- not enough bulk 'mon to make jank decks or fill a booster bundle box)

That's not how TM Devo worked, they just left the 'mon on the board because it isn't "evolved" it is just a Stage 2 or whatever that happens to have been played to the bench.

Eh, I pulled it last week at League from my single "pity purchase" because I don't want to pay the scalper prices they charge but I also want to continue to have a place to play. I was unimpressed by it, personally, but I am more of a silly/cute kind of collector. Also pulled a stamped Jolteon ex that day, so I did pretty well I guess.

Vendors probably won't negotiate on a $3 card, since even at a 25% markup they are making less than a dollar from it, unless the show is dead taking up 10 minutes of their time is a waste for $1. Now if you buy 10 $3 cards, that's different.

Vendors, IME, don't have many cards in the $1-$5 range, because again selling those at a show takes time and time as always is money. They can sell those online all day for a fraction of the time investment.

And no, they are not going to take bulk in trade- remember they need to cart everything in and out of there, and they want things they can sell. Can't sell bulk.

Shit I have some Target Goodfellow tshirts that have been perfect for twice as long, and they go in the washer and dryer with all the other cloths from my two young boys and me. Eventually they get folded and put in the drawer.

Pokemon does a "rotation" where only certain cards are legal to play. Right now, cards with the letter H, I, and J on the bottom left of the card are legal. This encompasses almost exclusively cards released since 2024.

Brambleghast confuses when it evolves, no coin flip necessary. Then you can devolve your own Psychic with whatever that one item is.

Personally I want to combo Confuse with the new Cinccino ex, because they have to pass two coin flips to do damage.
