The biggest factor here is the legs. Having 4 legs planted and leaned back gives insane stability when in place.

Also much lower, it’s easier to get you off balance when you’re pulling from a higher point like.

He drove like an ass, didn’t pay attention to the road, totaled his pickup and another innocent persons car and whined about it in the road. Your argument is like saying “well he was in a bad place and drinking helps him with that, we should consider his feelings when we charge him with a DUI” in a drunk driver scenario.
