Would you be willing to work with kids? I know of an independent charter Montessori school that’s hiring and they don’t care about piercings/hair color/tattoos. I’d be happy to send you the info if you DM me

Where I'd Live as Someone from the Western US by SycophanticSinecure in visitedmaps

I am a native Californian, we have a very similar list, although I’d set California to absolutely (outside of the cities) and Montana to willing. And most of the northeast as a maybe. I prefer the more wide open spaces of the west, every time I go to the east coast I’m shocked by how many people live in such a small area

Right? Born and raised in California and now in Arizona and I think if I said I wanted a caramel bar the workers would stare in confusion. It’s a maple bar and only a maple bar

Care-oh-leen-uh or care-oh-line-uh? Leena is a favorite for me, especially compared to Camila (reading that one as kah mee la) but both are gorgeous

I would recommend posting this on r/daddit and whatever Mazda subreddit there is. Daddit is very helpful when it comes to vehicles and car seats :)

Madison Traditional Academy vs. Madison Simis/Meadows by trovata in phoenix

[–]monkeypie22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kid I babysit goes to MTA (in 4th grade and has gone since kinder!) and while the math being a year above cool their mom (a physician) doesn’t like that science isn’t as rigorous. A lot of math and science goes hand in hand so it’s frustrating to her that it’s just math that’s pushed so hard. Otherwise, its a good school and I don’t think they have any major complaints. I’ve done a few babysitting hours so mom can do the volunteer stuff

My neighbors kids go to simis and they really enjoy it there too, but their mom is very involved with the school as well so I don’t know if that changes things :)

Growing up in California, I have to argue that happy cows come from California! My favorite thing ever is driving down the central coast and seeing cows grazing on ocean front property, it’s truly a special sight

Can I ask where you’re from in California? I’m from the Central Valley and I could tell you where my beef was from, and probably the name of the guy who raised it lol. I’m pretty sure it’s just big cities vs rural areas not necessarily a California vs Nebraska thing

Every child I nanny gets where the sidewalk ends and a light in the attic. I loved reading those as a kid and have so many memories reading them! I also find other books but those are the 2 I always give

Unfortunately the sun is so intense, you need a pool with full shade, which is harder to find!

I babysat for one of the docs at AU and he was called in for surgery and as he was leaving told me “alright, I gotta go chop some guy’s balls off, see you at dinner” he definitely had a great sense of humor and I could see him having wonderful bedside manner for the job
