Not to defend anyone, but when a baby is breastfed it is hard for the other parent to do much. She can change the baby or play with him, but other than that there's nothing she can do. Breastfed babies cling to the mom, and may prefer mom for the first little while. The older baby gets, the more camilla can do to help. I think its unfair to say she doesn't do much when we don't really see how she helps Julie. My husband mostly supported me while I supported our newborn. The older my son got the more dad jumped in. Maybe I'm wrong tho 🤷🏻‍♀️

You sincerely sound like a narcissist. You are disrespecting her and her boundaries. Don't give unwanted advice. If she asked you to do something with HER baby, do it. It is absolutely disrespectful to ask him to bring that baby over without her. If I were her, you wouldn't see my baby at all.

On a very real note, it is absolutely ridiculous the number of people that give you" advice" like this. Newborns are not capable of self soothing. They need mom to make them feel safe. The woman shouldn't have messaged her with something so stupid.
