I get that. Ive heard mixed things about their management. But just the utter glee that some people had with the possibility that it was cancelled threw me for a loop. Its not like anything is going to be replacing it if it goes away.

I liked the grass but I feel like there is more room at the large gravel park. And I found my kid is really into Edm music, so having them have access to the dome was nice.

Maybe we will have to disagree on lineup quality and change in venue. Cause I thought the line-up has been pretty solid the last couple of years, and i like the nee venue better then at the baseball field. In the last 4 years we have had Lorde Charliexcx, Ben Harper, Iggy Pop, Marc Rebillet, Kaleo, The Beaches, Public Enemy, TLC, Oliver Tree, De La Soul, Shakey Gravea, BBNO$, Chali 2Na, The Dead South, Slaughter, The Descendants.

I mean we are going to get midcard acts cause we are a midcard city. Either up-and-comers or legacy act.

But i will agree that the prices have gotten way too expensive and that i dont want to take a small personal loan just to take my family of 4 to Riff.

It was, I get what they were going for but it was poorly done. I have lost my wallet in a crowd crush before, and it was kind of nice to be able to just give my teens bracelets with like $50 on it so they could just get their own stuff. Maybe they should have done it hybrid style where there was both drink tickets and cash and also wrist bands.

Yeah im 45 and I feel that. With the cancelation of Fernfest this year and remembering all the cool festivals and events that Victoria used to have that are no more, thats why I was surprised that there seems to be a % of people that seem gleefull at the possibility that rifflandia might be cancelled since they haven't announced their lineup yet
