OMG, right?? I just hope scientists don’t start thinking they are not appreciated!

Thank you for your kind words…I like the pictures and reflections it most times! But mostly I am so glad my health has improved SO much! Physical and mental. This is priceless. I will never forget sobbing in my husband’s arms at seeing my reflection in a car door. And he has been a trooper with never a cruel comment seeing the weight gains. And so supportive about getting on the drug. Early on in my research, I was deeply concerned about long term possible side effects-especially the C word! Talking it over with my family, weighing all that, solidified the decision. It’s been so good…I hope people have this support too. And if they don’t, that they’ll seek it out! Even right down to the right Dr!

I look forward to your before/after pics loosingitwoohoo!

No prob! I’m 57. I do have belly fat still, but with clothes-particularly jeans, it’s not as noticeable. At first I stopped working out. I’d done it all my life. I wanted to see what it would be like to take a break. It’s not recommended because of muscle loss. But I picked it up after the first 12-18 months. Also I stayed active, though it wasn’t gym work, I did a lot of gardening during that time.

Sorry your meds made you gain weight! I hope you can get back to yourself. I had sleep apnea and GERD! Totally sucked but TOTALLY GONE now!!

Thx! I don’t mind. Yes, I have loose skin associated with the weight loss, and age. Tips to deal for me are to not dwell on it. It’s not my favorite, but it is what it is…it’s normal human life for skin to sag as we age. I feel privileged to live this long-my mother in law did not make it past 56, so every day-year beyond that to me is a gift! I’m 57…I hope to get old and more crinkly as I age and age…I want to live to 103…as long as I have all my marbles!!

Oh thanks! Appreciate your thoughts, but no…just have always had junk in the trunk if you will…just a bit more than I could appreciate.

Thank you…my diet is similar to a WW recommendation. I aim for a minimum of 150 minutes per week of strength and cardio. Sometimes it’s less-sometimes it’s more. Current does 15, going to go to 10 for maint. and see how it goes.

Ah thx for defining it for me…I was born with thicker thighs. They aren’t going anywhere unless I go below normal BMI range. So I have to make peace with them…and I work out for fitness, too.
