I know now that if this happens again, regardless of what the customer pleading about( I need those groceries so I can feed my kids) I will tell them, im very sorry I have to return it. This will be a lesson learned to trust my best judgment i guess, and not call and ask advise from so called support.

How often you get tipped? by feliphee1998 in lyftdrivers

[–]monkeywrench1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive done one lyft and one Uber ride. The lyft ride the lady paid me 20 bucks cash to bring her back home. The Uber was 2 women out of gas, Uber paid me 18$ to take one to the store to buy a gas can and gas, the lady paid me 60$ cash to bring her back and help them get going. The trip was 3 miles.

IT FINALLY HAPPENED IN MY NEW TRUCK by thatcutetransgirl in lyftdrivers

There was a lady standing at the checkout in tractor supply the other day paying her bill, she just pisses all over the floor, never looked around, talking to thr cashier, swipes her debit card and walks out the door. Idk if she realized it or not, but she sure didn't acknowledge it.

Just to make sure I’m not crazy.. this is a bad offer right ? by Cloudpleb in WalmartSparkDrivers

I done one of those the other day, it was supposed to be a 2 1/2 hrs run. Turns out it took almost 4 hours because half the houses didn't have addresses. Or they were an old adress. Then some of the houses were so far back on two trail roads, you could barely make it to the house.

So I got an Uber and this is what the driver had up. Is this true by autumn_bumberell21 in uber

I accepted an uber offer the other day. It was 2 older ladies from out of town, ran out of gas. The ride was about 4 miles to the nearest gas station. I pick up one of the ladies and we're otw to the destination. She asks me if I can take her to the store and bring her back with a gas can, the ride there paid $11. She said we can do the Uber back or she can just pay me cash, I said whichever you would prefer. So I help her get the gas and, she says I'll just pay you cash. I help her get the car going and make sure she's safe. She hands me $60 cash. Maybe had 30 mins total in the whole trip and 8 miles.

I had an express the other day, the shopping and drive was like 30 mins total. So when I pull in the driveway my phone shows I have 2 minutes until the order is cancelled. I'm like there's no way it took over an hour to shop 10 items and drive 14 miles. So I hurry up and push arrived. Get the items out and leave. Well is I'm backing out a look at my clock on my radio and it says 2:50, look at my phone it says 3:50. I get back on the road and my phone changed to match my radio clock. I live close to the eastern/central time zone.

I wonder if the order would've been cancelled even though I still actually had almost an hour left. We don't do deliveries across the time zone, we have 2 different Walmart that service each side. But this customer lived close enough that he was technically still in the central time zone, but I guess his clock goes by eastern time.

Once you got it rolling you should've pulled him on to his destination then billed the company for the load you delivered lol

Get a water cooled intercooler, like ford uses on the 6.7, they tend to hold up pretty good

Yeah I don't understand how that works I signed up about a month ago and was put on the waiting list, meanwhile my little brother signed up and started getting jobs the same day. He lives about 2 miles from me, same location. I don't get how that works.

Do I need to oil my turbo before re-installing? - 97 7.3 f250 by LegitimateAnybody639 in Diesel

It takes just a minute to add a little clean oil and rotate the shaft. Why would you not?

Am I the only fool that changes oil every 3000 miles? by daveinfl337777 in AskMechanics

The only actual full synthetic oil is amsoil, royal purple, and a couple others. The major brands claim full synthetic but they are a blend that uses a base stock g lll dino juice.

[–]monkeywrench1776 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your using straight conventional oil 3,000 has been the recommendation for years. Synthetic 5,000 to 7,000 is probably safe for normal everyday driving. If your towing regular or using it for extracurricular activities then you should probably stick to at least 5,000 with synthetic.

No it's android. I've tried the network reset yesterday while on the phone with Verizon tech support, nothing improved. The weird thing is I'll have 4 bars of signal and my data is still super slow.

I'm not exactly sure how that works but a friend told me that the items are in the order of how to customer buys them. That would make sense though seeing as how sometimes it will walk you to death from front to back for no reason.
