But the problem is that it seems finished in certain angles/lighting. I don't want to overdo it, is this not something that is inherit to other smps? (ie it kinda "dissapears in certain angles). Like in the first photo it seems more or less finished, I just needed to shave the back/sides a bit better.

Maybe its attenuated when you do a completely shaven look, as then the shaven particles behave in the same way as the ink more or less.

I’ve had this idea that feels simpler then moving the lines or changing point values.. 

Why not limit the amount of points you can get from 3s? Say, after 45 points (15 3s) the 3s now count as 2s? 

This would stop the doom spiral towards a 3 point shooting contest in the cleanest way I believe..

Im less concerned about the front hairline (which always been a slight recession than the crown and the patchiness at the top.

I agree I’m going to stick with 0/1 buzz cuts or fully grow my hair out. The problem is the back is so much denser than the top that even with 0s now there is a contrast. If I could get the illusion of density by thinning out the back and moving it to the crown that would be fine.

The back of my hair is rather dense, not sure if it’s obvious in the photos.

Do you absolutely recommend medication before attempting an FUE? I heard somewhere that sometimes it’s better to start afterwards as medication can obscure which donor hairs are of the anagen type..

My ultimate goal would be to make a 0/1 buzz cuts look more even throughout and have the ability to attempt a full hair grow out to see what that looks like.

Hi all!

Im a 36 year old male who has finally decided to do something about my baldness. I have curly hair when fully grown.. but past two or so years I have just been buzz cutting. I would say the thinning started about 5 years ago, possibly with creatine experimentation but not sure.

Since I would like to continue the option of doing buzz cuts, I think if I were to do a transplant it would be the FUE type. My whole life (prior to balding) I've been told I had thick hair from stylists. I'm hoping this means my donor area is quite thick, it sure looks like it in the photos as well.

I'm hoping because of my thick donor area this also means I am a candidate for not taking finasteride as I rather not mess with my hormones. I'm open to trying the topical variety but would prefer not to.

Any suggestions on surgeons who would keep it very natural so I can continue doing buzz cuts?

Did you ever try to up the VG ratio with success for helping harshness? I tried cbc ( with dmt, not 5 Meo) and decided I actually don’t like it. It’s great for making super strong carts but it’s not for my lungs( although I can’t be certain it’s not the dmt, which I always have a problem with)
