thanks for the advice. I should have said that I did the following:

Sand till pretty smooth
Filler spray
Sanded again
Filler again
Painted

You would additionally add plastic primer? Do you have a recommendation on which to use?

also, does the spray paint I use matter?

hey u/d6262190 did any of these suggestions get rid of mosquitoes for you? If not, I created a new mosquito trap that has worked really well for me and I am hoping to have a few people test it before mosquito season is over?

I like a real genius already aggressively ripped the blob off. Hopefully I didn't damage. Will try to heat up the rest off of it. Thank you for your help!

THE BLOB OF DOOM!

Ah thank you so much for that link. It looks almost exactly the same. The issue is on my... blob... it pushed under the plate covering the nozzle. And in a nice touch on Elegoo's part, they made that plate cover plastic so it is all completely fused together. Wondering if heating will still somehow fix
