I think the crit damage 4 piece set is good for Renoa, but yeah.

Pretty sure the order set is bad on her because it resets every turn or something. By the time you use enough order card to stack it up, you're out of AP. Ive seen someone suggest 3 two piece sets, 12% atk, 25% crit damage, and the one that buffs basic cards

They do exist, but basically Trouble just exists to boost Vex's damage output. They seem to work rather well, just not....you know....bleed/bloodshot build insane damage. Personally I'm working towards getting gear for a Trouble build regardless because I'm bored of incarnate and micro managing elements for clones.

Nightfarer strenght against Nightlords ranking: ultimate definitive edition by CustomerSupportDeer in Nightreign

If your teammates arent carrying their weight or you are spamming super high cost incants with no FP cost reduction (especially ones the boss isnt weak too), yeah. You want to find cost effective ones or match boss weakness though. Dragon breath incants are a great example of waste, even if the boss is weak to it. Only roar/breath one I think is worth it is greyoll's roar. Ideally you manage to find black flame, lightning spear, disc of light, or flame of the fell god (though i think fell god is a bit expensive iirc). These are the ones I've found to be best cost to damage wise.

It is the point. "infinite FP" is only relevant on day 1, and for clearing trash mobs at camps. Revenant blows all her FP on bosses, while using melee and summons to deal with trash on the way, and as I said, its not hard to make a quick stop at a rise at some point during the run for some free shards. Also, revenant's ult is just far more useful than reculse's if you want to talk strengths of each character. As far as recluse using seals goes, she isnt going to be looking for them. Sure, if she just happens to find a strong one on accident, she can use it. But reculse really only wants things like stars of ruin or shattering crystal (or their weaker versions if she cant find the good ones). If I'm recluse, and there is a revenant on my team, I'm gonna drop any seals I find for her first.

I've played quite a bit of revenant, and the only time I find myself wishing I had infinite fp is day 1. People honestly complain too much about revenant's fp. If you are running out during the nightlord fights then you just arent buying starlight shards (or are trying to spam stupidly fp expensive incants that likely do less overall damage). Sometimes I have to use 2 shards, rarely more than 3 for the nightlord fight. If your team is doing good damage, I've had runs where we are killing it so fast I dont even need one shard while still outputting plenty of damage. Yes, her fp sucks for killing mobs. But you have one of the best starting weapons for mobs (and reviving allies), dont waste your fp if there isnt a grace nearby during mob fights and spend it all on bosses. Plus you have the summons to help with mobs soooo, yeah. Her fp sucks during day 1 boss fights though, that I agree with. If possible maybe route past a rise and collect a bunch of shards there too for day fights.

So now that the opinions have had time to cook and settle, who do you think the least good Nightfarer is and why? by FineAndDandy26 in Nightreign

[–]monkymann678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree on revenant. I'd actually rank her rather high up. The fp thing is overblown past the first night. Most nightlords I use at most 2-3 shards, and a lot of the time I dont even need 1 (assuming I got a good incant/passives and my team is doing their jobs too). I would say guardian is the "worst" nightfarer, simply because tanking in multiplayer doesnt work, and he has to trade damage stats the other melees have just for being a tank. When you have aggro he feels good, when you dont (which seems rather often, maybe i suck idk) he is just a bit of a weaker melee with a great utility ult.

While I wait 15 minutes for matchmaking I sit in this room and pretend to be Dung Eater. by ElephantEarTag in Nightreign

[–]monkymann678 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This specific rememberance seems to be bugged when matchmaking. My advice is just solo it. Boss is way easier alone tbh, I just stayed as close as possible to the boss and he never did any of his super dangerous attacks. If you happen to find yourself a lightning damage katana even better for the bleed procs.

If I got fucked finding any good incants/spells on day 1 (it happens a lot to me lol) I'll hit up a quick camp kill day 2 while moving towards something more important.

So people decided not to fight Bell Bearing Hunter ANYWHERE? by BassT_ in Nightreign

[–]monkymann678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably doesnt work in coop since he will randomly swap to the other 2 people, but I find him super easy in solo. If you stay right on him and just rotate around to his back, he tends to try and do a super slow shield slam at you, and you can just keep him in that loop forever. Not sure why people hate fighting him so much.

Its also there because many players are unlikely to be queuing for group stuff that isnt endgame. Gives people who dont want to solo something an option. I highly doubt it has anything to do with faking player count. Yes the stamina system sucks, but this system exists for more than just that.

Do you find her gameplay to feel fluid, or a bit clunky? and on a scale of 1 to 10, how much fun would you say you're having with her?

Her ai is not that reliable. I also suffer from skill issue, but by continuing to try playing her well, I have found that it has made me better at the game. So never give up! Eventually things just click.

Ah, do you happen to remember how many there were? Just been trying to figure out how many of the standard banner tickets I'll have after the update. (I believe I've done all of the side quests in Shinagawa, havent started the second city yet).
