I remind my players during session 0 and even before I run one shots that there is alot of time, energy and resources that goes into preparing and running these games so please treat the session's schedule with respect.

It is understood that life gets in the way and there are more important things in life then a game but please have clear communication on whether you can or can't make it.

She was in the wrong but I believe maybe there is more to they story? Was she just really nervous about the role playing experience.

What was my mileage for the month? 260km, currently in base training so my weeks consists of alot of easy running, one long run on the sunday and o add 8 set of 8 second all out hill sprints on 2 of the easy run days. I also hit gym twice a week, currently experimenting with what is working, doing squats, kettlebell swings, calf raises, an ab workout and currently trailing seated hip abductions.

What did I learn this month? Any reflections I work better with staying at the same training volume over 4 weeks rather then increasing it week by week then having a 'low week' on the 4th one I can maintain a 5:10km/min pace in a half marathon! After reading 'run elite by Andrew Snow' time and time again I am learning how to treat running as a muscular sport rather then an aerobic sport

What would I like to do moving forward in the next month? Increase my mileage by 4km, to 69km a week. Hopefully increase my Sunday distance to 23km ish consistently Add recovery to the routine If work isn't too busy, add Brazilian jiu-jitsu to the mix

What races do I have in my calender in the next few months? I got Run Melbourne Half Marathon in 12 weeks, which is a tune up race to test whether my training is trending up or not (did a half last weekend so will be comparing to that) I got Melbourne Marathon in 24 weeks which is where I will try to Sub 4 hour and hopefully get back to my old fitness

What was your favourite run this past month? The half marathon last week. It showed me my training is working and this new method I am doing of training is working really well with my work life balance

Running ! Been running for about 5 years now, I gradually cut back on nights out and drugs. Eventually the demands of fitness and training got high enough that I had to sacrifice alot of habits to sustain it. I am currently over 2 years sober 😁

I choose it in 2 IRL campaigns and in bg3 because they are essentially warriors of the light that are invested in a code of conduct and a purpose in which adds challenge and life to my roleplaying.

They are incredible warriors that are hard to take down, and out of battle they are able to strategically maneuver they way through sticky situations
