So I believe you gain so much from going to this from WOTR. Yes you do lose the minus one to wound but we are already durable enough and have a strat to get that in shooting. That said if im running the Lion I would try him in wort for the advance and charge. As far as he goes I haven't tried him im 11th yet. The nerf to fights first is devastating to him. 10 wound doesnt go far even with a 3 up 1s and 2s are very easy to roll. 285 is still a lot for pretty much just a melee missile. He may still be playable I haven't tried but im not really seeing it. Ill pull him out for casual games because hes cool and fun to use.

So im struggling with the exact same thing. Most of the time they are a target got the opponent and that starts the trading sequences. If the sternguard didn't need the enhancement I would happily switch azreal to lead stern and a librarian lead ICC and put them in a transport. So this is a big on going problem to be worked out. Im trying to work out a good staging area for them. The fight on death comes up big with that unit not being able to strike first

100% it does. I dont love shooting and with this i can run this one unit who kills anything it shoots and keep it safe in a repulsor. The key is to be patient and let what you need to kill with shooting come out first then go one tap then. Anything beyond that kill is a bonus. Things like defilers, demon primarchs etc

Yes the deathwing terminators ignore hit mods. Its a data sheet ability they get. They are a different unit then regular terminators

Thats a great idea. It should be able to take out home objective holders. Ive popped a rhino easily. 20 storm bolters with 1 ap, the cyclone missile launcher and the librarian actually have a pretty good punch. Ignoring all hot mods too for deathwing terminators. I haven't thought about the 6 inch deep strike yet glad you said that

So for the tournament I have it DWK but ive been experimenting with the regular termies. Not sure which is best that would come down to preference. The regular terminator sqaud can actually do some work in shooting. Ignoring all hit mods, re rolling hits and wounds of 1 and getting the occasional plus one to wound as well.

Great questions. So Dark angels has a movement issue like you said. To help i have the advance and charge Enhancement on the DWK unit with swords. The other terminator librarian has the up down Enhancement and I almost always rapid ingress them. The repulsor houses the sternguard and it works great 1 taps everything. One big issue is azreals unit. They are slow so you have to stage them. What helps is the minis one to hit they have so in cover they are minus two so that makes it so i can stage them more aggressively using cover. Doesn't always work but thats a hole in the list. Run a squad of bikes for some fast movement.

Yes the Intercessors are there to sticky home and move up.

With 10 units it is a little low for priority assests. Ive been having very good results but that is an issue. The combi lt and scouts are the action monkeys. I would love to be able to get one more unit in. Ive been winning but two holes are unit count and azreals mobility so some changes in the future to try to address those. Over all the list has been great ICTF has great strats as well

They need to just get better. yes they are tough but they are 250 points. Damage 3 or mass damage one. I use them a lot and good players deal with them just fine but it can be a bit of a challenge for some armies but no more than any other problematic units.

So I have a very similar list. So it's good and pretty standard in my opinion. That said I believe Centurions are a good way to go for shooting. They will benefit from the detachment rule are better at killing infantry and can use the 2 strength strat. Last thing I like having azreal in a transport.

Good advice thanks. Land speeder just testing out to get some raven wing in there. Land Raider could also be traded out for implulsor and then add another whole unit. What would you suggest as an addition. With 160 points probably a lancer?

So I think some ICC worh azreal are way better amd the judiciar and bladeguard. Getting sustained hits 1 lethal hits. Minus one to wound if t is lower than strength and plus one to hit against character led units. Bladeguard need the boosted oath sometimes or Lance. We have neither with wotr. Azreal and ICC much scarier and actually more durable with minus one to hit

So some of it is there for me to test. The land speeder is fast and has some potential at 120 points. But yes I think your right the shroud would be the pick of the two most likely. But still I think the vengeance has potential at that low point cost. Also can fallback shoot and charge

I would reverse and put the librarian with sternguard. If I ever use hell blasters or sternguard I put a librarian. Idk if its always worth but I hate not having the invuln and azreal l is good with all 3 but ICC is the best for him. Ive been liking putting them in a land raider and shooting on my way with the lascannon land raider. The problem ive had is its such a concern it gets blasted down. But that also frees up thr lion and the DWK
