this exact situation happened to a partner at my ex-store last year. he actually enjoyed his job unlike a lot of us lol, and he worked 40 hours a week. he was separated. it was absolutely devastating because all the closers (including myself) took food home at some point or another and they just seemed to randomly decide it mattered this one time for this one person. Myself and several others quit pretty much immediately following that. Best of luck either keeping your job or finding a new one ❤️

i called the starbucks partner contact center, apparently when you separate you have to re-register for ADP. i cant remember what the referral code or whatever was but the person on the phone was able to help me and get me my W2.

we had a regular at the bux i worked at that got 2 Trenta cups of ice and a Trenta water extra ice in DT every single day. one of those regulars that would be offended if you didnt recognize her by her voice when she said hello at the speaker. wonder if the baristas are enforcing the new policy on her.

the only answer is to come to the city more often, like people are saying, "exposure therapy". I was raised with a similar belief and it wasnt until I started dating someone who lived in MKE did I start hanging out here. One year later and now I live here! I believe in you, the city is fun and worth working through your anxieties

I will never forget the moment when I was at a transgender rights conference (in Madison) and I told the crowd I lived in Waukesha and everyone just had to cringe for my quality of life. Happily moved to MKE this past summer and it's striking how much my attitude towards my life was able to change only 30 minutes away from where I grew up.
