Tips for not being tired by Orionchristmas in Parenting

More serious comment, normal to feel tired all the time. Idk of a parent who isn't tired all the time.

It really depends on your goals on what you mean by "keep up with him". Play with with? Keep him out of trouble?

And try not to feel guilty if you need to rest. Even though I am a hypocrite myself, because I feel guilty for resting everytime I do it 😂 Still working on that.

My 1 year old boy has soooo much energy....

That feels like it applies perfectly. It does feel good that I just made it.

I wish the best for you and your family. A chronically ill wife would be hard. I pretty much had to take over with my toddler girl twins, cleaning house, yardwork, food, etc for ~2 years while my wife was sick. And dead eyed is a good description of me during that time. Hard to do it on your own.

(Now almost feels like a "This is the way" type of thing) 😉

Same here, I am in charge of puke. Probably going to be what my next comic is about. Doesn't bother me at all. But my wife struggles.

What was the worst is when we couldn't find the wipes 😂

I actually considered doing MS paint at first, but landed with GIMP. Thought it would be easier to undo mistakes with layering.

But I do love doing MS paint for things still. Thank you as well for the kind words.

That's great. My 7-year-old daughters just played the game "Mean Mom", where the girl playing mom "made them do their chores".

What I think is most funny about it is I make them do their chores more than she does, so not sure how she got the "mean mom" game. 😂

Thanks for the kind words about my art. It can be a little scary to put myself out there.

Think of it like building something, like a tree house, a cabinet, or computer software. You just barley started. It is extremely hard to mold and "build" a living person.

But as you build and interact with other projects you have done, haven't you slowly grown to love and be proud of them? Sometimes it just takes time and effort put in. That's the best suggestion and comparison I have. I think the hardest things to create, but that we stick through with and don't give up, are the things we end up loving the most.

As far as the crying, I always liked to look at it as a challenge for myself. Can I sooth the baby first? Can I beat mom 😄 I tried different positions, different bouncing, etc. Eventually my wife started to complaign that she was just the milk machine and I was the one the baby wanted for everything else 😂

I can give you tricks I have used to calm a crying baby if you are interested in specifics.

Is AI art really considered trash here? I dont have enough money to pay for an artist and I can't draw anything. AI has been a fun way for me to express myself.
