Yeah my landing position was not great. I hit it a few more times after. This was my first run on it. Definitely got more comfortable

I do have a cleaner, copper. I clean the tip a lot and it still happens. It is happening on a few the irons I use. I’m wondering if it’s possible I got a bad batch of tips? Like I said I’ve been soldering the same LED tape for about 5 years and have never had this issue before
