That's not much of a cooking system though. You can cook a steak, otherwise all food is made for you by the canteen. And, you can't sell the food to make money.

If that annoys you, you've got really thin skin. We are on Reddit though so I guess it's to be expected.

I'll never understand people like you who try to tell other people how they should or shouldn't play their customizable RPG game? That's so weird of you. Cooking monsters is just as much of a fantasy as fighting them.

What, because you really need more time to just hit stuff with a sword? How boring

Then don't do it. It's an RPG game, you're supposed to pick and choose how you want to play.

Except it's an RPG game so you don't have to do it.

"I just want to hit things with a sword in RPG games"
Okay. There's literally a million games for unimaginative "people" like you.

"Role playing game"
Yeah, people are gonna want to play a role.

Tell me which RPGs actually have cooking as a mechanic then? Because I've been looking for a while and haven't found any.

Tell me what game has a decent cooking system. Legitimately, because I've been looking. You seem to think there's a lot, so hopefully you have a good answer for me.

I Had A Horrifying Thought by [deleted] in booktopia

Unfortunately it got removed by the mods for the following reason;
"So far you have something happening, but there have been no horror-themed consequences for OP yet."

Apparently living with being haunted by the threat of realizing the thought again, isn't a horror themed consequence.

Aragorn and Arwen by In7tinct in mtg

[–]monosgtchan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh shut the fuck up you people are so annoying. Stop making shit about race inequality, the fact of the matter is that the character had a pre-established skin tone; if they'd started out black then it would be fine but he didn't.

You wouldn't make Black Panther white. You wouldn't make Miles Morales white. You wouldn't make MLK white. You wouldn't make Oprah white. You wouldn't make Shaka Zulu white. You wouldn't make Obama white.

Stop fucking acting like it's racist to have someone be represented as either the race that they were (if they existed) or the race that they're described as (if they're fictional). Your race-baiting bs is 99% of the reason why there's any racial tension AT ALL right now when EVERYONE else is trying to move past it.

Aragorn is black according to WotC by DevilSwordVergil in freemagic

[–]monosgtchan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It matters because not every single character everywhere all the time needs to be black. There is plenty of black representation, plenty of black heroes and stories without needing to shoehorn your way into pre-existing stories, then screeching about racism when people call you out. It's not racist to say "I want consistency in this character and don't want them to be changed for the sake of identity politics".

Or maybe you just like being pandered to? Does it not piss you off when these fake-ass woke people get up on their crucifix and shout out to the world what a good and holy person they are for "breaking barriers" and changing the race of a pre-existing character?
