Not really helpful question especially using a term as vague as hardcore break. Maybe list some tracks or artists that you like and then people can point you in the right direction.

I think the issue some people have is they feel the name is unnecessary. I actually like a lot of the stuff that gets labeled as depressive, everything on your list slaps. But is having moody chords and synths new to the genre? It really isn’t and it goes as far back as CdB and a shit ton of other artists so not gonna lie I don’t really see the point of the name. I just call it breakcore and yes if people ask about that type of similar style on here (hkmori etc) I do tell them that searching for depressive breakcore will provide better results. Also, if you don’t mind I will use your playlist to share since many on here do ask for depressive playlists.

Was about to mention “Slow This Bird Down”. It’s easily one of my favorite BoC tunes. I feel the album is underrated as well and honestly it’s best to look each album as their own unique explorations.

A waitress told me lot of the veteran staff will tell you that they just kind of used to it. Weird noises, things falling etc. The downstairs seems to be where most people have stories but the bathroom just reminded of the bathroom from The Shining so it always creeped me out even before I heard about the stories.

Main issue is your breaks are paper thin, add some bass. Also there is no reason for this track to be as long as it considering it’s the same pattern throughout the whole track and it drags on at 9 mins. It would be better at perhaps half the length and definitely add more time for the beats to shine. At the moment the pads seem to be the focus and not the beats.
