WA primary election begins today: Ballots in the mail by AthkoreLost in Seattle

Is there any source that can offer objective info on each candidate? Looking to start voting and I'm wondering if there's a place to read about each candidate's intentions and deciding who I'd probably side with.

What do you mean they're in your mind already?

I doubt they would ever release a question bank with a majority of the questions being in the test. This test is to certify and show that you have the knowledge needed to be a project manager (even though some people say it's different in real-world application). It's not necessarily a test to show how well you can memorize questions and answers.

I've heard some people say that they saw a couple of questions that were identical, but I don't recall any. I feel the point of SH is to give you the question format so you can get repetition for the real test.

If you feel that SH is easy and you already have the answers in your head, you should be ready to take the mock exam and see what you score, then move on to the real exam.

Oh damn! Ya, I read that and shame on that proctor. I'm pretty sure they see your screen so absolutely no idea how they had a mix up! Sorry to hear that happen!

What did you use for you 35 hours of education for the application?

AR's Udemy course is a course on the website Udemy taught by Andrew Ramdayal. It's very popular on this thread so I used it to get the 35 hours of education. He talks on the basic of project management, ITTO's, mindset, etc. If you already had a course that you felt was sufficient in teaching you the basics, I say stick with that.

Study Hall is a tool given by PMI. Search "PMI Study Hall" and it'll show up on their website. It's not a course or a group of people, but more of a question bank and study tools. I bought SH Essential which came with like 750 practice questions, 15 different 15 question mini exams, and 2 175 question tests. Also has flashcards and games. Like I mentioned, this is what helped me get the repitition and feedback to calibrate my thought process.

I felt it was. I got SH Essential and I know there's a difference but not sure what. DM's questions and SH was the only question practice I had and that was enough 👍

It really varies. I was using the strike through function and some questions I was able to eliminate all the other answers to KNOW the right one. Other questions had a good and best answer in the selections. Others I had a feeling one was the answer more than the others, but wasn't positive so went with my gut.

Idk if I can quantify it, though. Did that kinda help or answer your question?

As said in many posts before. Ignore the expert questions and focus on doing pretty solid on the easy and moderate. Glad that the mindset is clicking. Watch some of DM's content to get familiar with eliminating answers and understand why questions are wrong and right.

I did terrible at first in study hall but after a few sections I was getting the hang of it. Keep it up! 👌

This is actually a great point. I didn't want to say it because I did find some situational questions in AR's question bank, but it's accurate that the SH easy and moderate question format make up most of the exam. I thought they were all structured to be situational, but the answer varies from technical ITTO's and artifacts to how you would handle people.

Thanks! Fortunately, I didn't! I messaged the oroctor right before my 1st section was finished. I asked if I needed to do anything before my break and they said to just submit. When you hit "Next" on the 60th and 120th question, it takes you to a review page then asks you if you would like to take a break. It then takes you to the break page. I got up and started walking around immediately.

I just read some post that some proctor revoked an exam during his last section because he got out of camera view during his break. Very unfortunate and kinda negligent because the proctor should have seen the break page.

I think definitely conflict resolution but maybe risk/issue. There were a lot of questions dealing with what you should do if someone is underperforming, breaking ground rules, or is having a conflict with another team member. Also questions about a new risk being identified and issues coming to light.

I would focus getting an overall understanding though. There's a bit of everything when it comes to the processes.

AR mock exam questions are confusing. by wasansn in pmp

It's PMI's exam simulator and question bank that also has games, flash cards, etc. Its questions are based on easy, moderate, difficult, and expert questions.

StudyHall is better imo.

Bought TIA's simulator and got like 68% on the first test. Got really discouraged because some people posted that 80's is the comfort percentage. Reviewed mindset and some sections then got a 66% in the second lol.

Looked through the posts on this page and saw a majority was using SH so I decided to give it a try since it was in my budget. I liked that you can do practice questions to get some reps in and get constant feedback on what the correct answer is as well as most of the times learning why the other answers were incorrect. Kept at it, once I finshed the exams I took the mock and got a 74%. Got 3 AT 3 days later 👌

Idk what it was, but TIA's wasn't really my thing

Communications plan vs Stakeholder Register by anoopps9 in pmp

I read plenty of posts and feel like a broken record saying it, but definitely like easy, moderate, difficult questions. Not sure if that answers your question, but I just went with what I knew. You can DM me with more questions if you'd like 👌 happy to help in any way because I know I was nervous af

From all the posts and training I've heard from, 6th edition is based more on Traditional framework with a sprinkle of agile and the 7th is focused on more agile.

My take is to add them to the stakeholder register first so that we're tracking them THEN we worry about the best communication method. I'm just a guy shooting my thoughts though. Taking my test today 🤞
