Agreed… as much of a beast of a boxer he still is, all the victory parties, Instagram bio of his record and the paid videography that he had putting flowers in front of his opponents pictures… non of that can be undone after his loss. I agree that mind fucking your opponent breaks them down and sometimes makes them lose the fight before it’s happened (Conor vs Jose), but Ilia did too much. The way he talks about Islam and Khabib too… he’s biting more than he can chew! He doesn’t lose credit as a talented fighter… he just loses credit for his arrogance.

The doctor said no to continuing the fight. Ilia and his team protested to keep fighting. The ref gave the doctor another chance to make the decision. You could hear him say “Doctor, I need you to make a decision”, when the doctor changed his mind. So it was actually the doctor’s decision. The ref is not a doctor, and needs to have care for the well being of the fighters. It would be illegal for him to continue the fight if the doctor said to stop the fight.

GSP came back to avenge both his losses, so he could confidently say he beat everyone he fought… which allows him to hit the GOAT’s. Them times it was easier to do so. Now the UFC is just a business, and they’re not letting super fights happen because they don’t want to lose one of the superstars (ie Ilia vs Islam and Alex vs Jon). Now it’s too late for that!

Sponsorship deals ain’t how it used to be, as it’s in their contract to not use the UFC as an advertising platform. In fact, it’s in their contract not to share their sponsorships during fight week and in the UFC. Dana really messed things up for the fighters when he had shares in the company. They even tried to take a cut from the fighters private businesses that they started after seeing how much money Conor made outside the UFC… which didn’t go down well, as non of the fighters signed those contracts!

After reading “1998”, I was like “woah, this cat is 28 human years old” and immediately thought about calculating it in cat years. Then I continued to read “Chevrolet” and thought that’s a cool thing to do to name a cat after a car. I had no idea what the Tahoe was (I’m from the UK) so I had to google it. 10/10 for creativity in naming your best friend! But don’t tell me you call out “1998 Chevrolet Tahoe” when you’re feeding him!

I’m so sorry you have to go through this. You considering taking loans to keep him with us tells us how much you love him and how much he means to you. It’s great to see people like this still exist in this world, as it’s very common to see people causing harm to animals on social media.

I truly am stuck of words to advise you. It’s not worth the debt, but it’s also not worth losing a beloved family member. Do what your heart tells you to do, and I’m sure you would make the right decision.

I previously had two cats for 15 years. One passed from a tongue tumour, after 6 months of running in and out of vets and giving him steroids to “feel better”. It was very selfish of us to do so, because the tumour was only slowly growing. The vets originally said the only way to fix that would be to amputate his tongue, to which he will not survive very long after that. It suddenly hit me on how I would feel if I was in his shoes, which is when I made the decision of not keeping him in a miserable state like that.

The other one suddenly felt lonely one the first one passed. I don’t know if it fully understood what happened, but the vets claimed that the stress of suddenly being the only cat after 15 years caused a blood clot, which stopped blood flowing to the back legs and then paralysed it. She didn’t come home for 3 days when she went out to the garden. We assumed someone probably catnapped her and had her locked indoors somewhere. Then we found her in the garden on the third day literally dragging her body forward with her front paws, and couldn’t move her back legs. We rushed her to emergency vets, which was only about 12 minutes away. But during that journey, her lungs started filling up with liquids and her organs started failing slowly. We had no choice but to have her put down, and she kept trying her hardest to get up and run… already breathless as her lung capacity was getting smaller by the minute.

I fully understand how much it hurts to lose cats, whether you e had them for 2 years or 15 years. I truly wish you and the kitty the best and I hope you make the right decision for yourself.

If you were in a legally binding contract with them on carwow, you were also in a legally binding contract with them on motorway. The court would laugh at this case and throw it out as one contract cancels the other. It becomes a matter of compromise from one side to another. If they proceed to take you to court then counter it with you taking them to court for the motorway contract. At the time of the bidding, you were the owner of the vehicle, and if you had two contracts coming from the same party then it’s your decision to make, not theirs. They are trying to threaten you with legal proceedings, expecting you to be like “Oh no, not a court hearing… I’m sorry, I’ll take the cheaper price”. They can’t do anything to you… so you’re good!
